Took my girlfriend and her Mom & Dad here for a Birthday Breakfast Brunch. All the staff continue to be polite and professional which adds to a nice experience. I ordered a scone with breakfast which was both warm and arrived with fresh whipping cream! I've eaten here at least a half dozen times now over the past three years... More

My husband and I had a fabulous dinner here. Everything was superb, the service, the food, and the ambience. I had the rack of lamb which was expertly seasoned and cooked, my husband had the NY steak which was tender and flavorful. All of the vegetables were delicious and perfectly paired. It just doesn't get any better. We took home... More

We arrived quite late in the evening and were greeted by a very friendly waiter "Ben." He let us know that the kitchen was near closing, but was kind enough to seat us and offer selections on the small plate menu. We chose the Seasonal Flatbread, Charcuteir Plate and Caesar salad. We could have been told the restaurant was closed... More

We return over and over again. Of course we also frequent K&S's, E. By SW, M-Grill, C-Cafe, etc., but nowhere is the food so consistently superb in flavor-freshness-and presentation. Consistently Excellent

Nice atmosphere but service seems always slow but kind. Food is ok, but menu not too exciting..usually opt for the mussels, except they are not from the U.S...prefer those from Wa State from Penn Cove which are far better and should be available from Seattle Fish and/or Mountain Valley seafood distributors, or could be. Very convenient for us since near... More

I was on a road trip in the Four Corners area, and was heading to Mesa Verde National Park when I found Kennebec Cafe in a small town in the mountains. It had positive reviews so I decided to give it a try. It being late weekend morning, the place was not yet full, and I was accommodated to a... More

The owner of this marvelous restaurant has been working on the dining space for years. It's just gotten better and better. But the food and wine live up to the terrific ambiance that she has created. We like the idea that the menu includes smaller plates. The place is only 10 minutes of Durango and we love the drive and... More

I realize that this resterant is not located in Durango, CO but the review should really be duplicated there. We are locals. The Kennebeck cafe is one of our regular stops. Lunch or dinner. It is a short drive from Durango - maybe 30 minutes. No problem. The atmosphere is wonderful and you know it is good because of the... More

We have eaten here three times. Always the best food and great service. The owners are on the floor making sure customers are well satisfied. We will continue to stop in every time we are in the Durango area. From my view, Kennebec is far superior to any "in town" Durango restaurants making it well worth the 10 minute drive.... More

We went to Kennebec in Hesperous, CO after skiing at Durango Mountain resort on 12/28/13. This was on recommendation of a local family member who was our host. We had a reservation for 7 people at 6:00pm. We arrived promptly and were seated. They had a group of 20 in the back room and could not get us menus... they... More
