We took advantage of Restaurant Week in Denver to try Sansone's Bistro for the first time. We loved the food and vow to go back. I ordered from the Restaurant Week menu with a choice of 3 courses. I had the Roman focaccia appetizer that was exceptional - warm flatbread with onion jam, rosemary and cheese. I had the salmon... More

We tried this restaurant during the Denver Restaurant Week and had an excellent meal. My husband had the green lip mussels in a sweet broth with tomatoes. Large mussels which can often be tough, but these were delicious and only a few which was just right. I had the flatbread with the onion jam and it was large enough to... More

This is a small local restaurant but a very special place to eat. The food is excellent and the service always attentive. In addition to delicious entrées, the side dishes are very special - always fresh and interesting combinations selected by Chef Robert to pair with each entrée, and the wine list is very appealing with a good range of... I really enjoy this restaurant. It has a varied menu, the food is good as is the service. The atmosphere is also nice, not fancy but the tables on the inside of the building have a warm welcoming feeling. The booths are o.k, but the inside tables are much better.

There was four of us in our party that day. We were able to make a reservation through Open Table (SWEET) and got in that day. By the end of the meal, all four of us proclaimed it was one of the best places we had eaten at. It is a little more upscale but the portions are generous and... More

I've eaten at some of the best restaurants, michelin starred and all. After eating at a michelin starred restaurant in London, I came home and met some friends for dinner, and still have cravings for the coffee dusted steak that Robert made. Always, creative, inspired specials! wonderful chef with friendly staff and something that I always come back to, for... More

Italian night at Sansone's is every Tuesday. They offer a nice selection of Italian dishes at reasonable prices. Service is very good.

Bistro may be undervaluing this place. Great menu. Appetizers are fantastic, especially the stuffed mushrooms and spicy calamari (don't let the inclusion of Frank's Red Hot sauce as an ingredient fool you). Entrees are well done, lobster ravioli is a highlight. Pork confit, beef, and lamb are all good, but seemed to all come out a bit more done than... More

My first introduction to Sansone's was when our company engaged the entire restaurant for our holiday lunch in 2006. They accommodated us beautifully and our staff had a wonderful time. They don't open for lunch anymore, but that doesn't matter, it's worth it for dinner! I've been back many times with friends or just alone because it's such a comfortable... More
