We went here for Thanksgiving and the food was good. There were a couple of inconsistencies..i.e. fiber like green beans, but we came at the end of the seating so it seemed like they were running low on things. Our pieces of pecan pie were much smaller than what we observed them serving earlier. Our server was professional, polite, but... More

Love everything about Sansone's. Beginning with the owners, Chef Robert and his wife Erica, who runs the front of the house. We celebrate EVERY occasion here. Very relaxing, wonderful food and excellent service. Oh, did I mention they serve Guinness? :-)

My lady had liver and onions and she ate it all, a very rare occurrence. I had the prime rib and it was tasty, cooked correctly and a generous portion (if you don't like the size offered, you can order a larger one - I ordered a larger serving). We both had the same side veggies . Beets and collards... More

Sansone's Bistro is a small restaurant with a dedicated and skilled chef/owner. The liver is truly delicious. The small plates include a delightful calamari which is sauteed, not deep fried. This is a rare find in Denver, but much more typical of how calamari is served in Europe. Yummm.... The wine list is eclectic, but has some nice old World... More

Ate at Sansone's with some friends for the first time. It's a small restaurant where you're greeted like family. Lot's of veal choices on the menu but only one beef selection. Growing up in a farm community I'm uneasy about eating veal knowing where it comes from. But they also have crispy duck, shrimp, and lasagna. This week they have... More

Made an Open Table reservation for 4 on a Saturday night. Was seated promptly, greeted by server and given water as soon as we sat down. Two of us had the salmon, the others lamb chops and shrimp dinners. The salmon is very unusual in that it is crusted with Nilla Wafers, so it is a bit sweet but delicious.... More

Sansone's Bistro feels like you are visiting a friend's home, and a friend that is a very good cook. The restaurant is small and cozy. Their menu offers a range of dishes and I have yet to order anything that I did not like. Prices are moderate and the service is very personal.

A remodel since my previous visit ~10 years ago has made this a near upscale experience. I had the veal liver which lives up to their quote "the best liver you may ever have". My wife had one of their daily specials, rosemary pork loin which was to die for. I look forward to either the crispy duck or veal... More

My friend and I really enjoyed our dinner at Sansone's Bistro. The food, atmosphere, and service helped to make it an enjoyable evening. The menu had a broad selection of gourmet entrees at reasonable prices. I wish this restaurant was in my neighborhood!

We took advantage of Restaurant Week in Denver to try Sansone's Bistro for the first time. We loved the food and vow to go back. I ordered from the Restaurant Week menu with a choice of 3 courses. I had the Roman focaccia appetizer that was exceptional - warm flatbread with onion jam, rosemary and cheese. I had the salmon... More
