Vernice s a bit of Italy in Denver. Very good food, very good vino, very good service in an environment full of people, conversation, laughter and activity. What a great restaurant!

I had set up a group of 17 friends to meet at this restaurant. I had eaten there before and once again came to the same conclusion. Food was okay, nothing that really jumped out that said "I have to come back here for this"...... I had ordered the shrimp scampi, I can't be certain of the price but i... More

Our third trip to Venice Ristorante, and the food is still well above average. The atmosphere? Eh. More on that later. The bread basket was outstanding, but the crusts fly off at the slightest touch: after a few pieces the table cloth looked as if it needed a leaf blower. The Wife was seen clearing a spot for her salad.... More

This place is inconsistent. I had the spaghetti with lobster and shrimp...or so it was described- The "shrimp" consisted of about 4 really tiny things that I have only seen in cans and used for gumbos...tasteless and almost non-existent. The lobster was a small cold water tail that was plopped on top of my pasta-still attached to the shell. That... More

We made reservations for the day after Valentine's day through Open Table, which indicated that 5:15 pm was the closest available reservation time to our desired time of 6 pm. When we arrived, the restaurant was almost empty, and we were taken to a TINY table in their new dining room. After a while, it became evident that we could... More

We have eaten at Venice Greenwood Village twice now. Good food both times with professional service. This is a BUSY restaurant. The staff is flying around everywhere. We were celebrating my wife's birthday there last night. When I booked the reservation I asked for a quiet table and let them know we were celebrating a big birthday. Here's the problem...There... We expected to have a meal and be back in the hotel by 10:30 (8:00 reservation). Boy were we surprised. We actually got to linger over excellent food and wine, interact with other diners when we wished and still be happy to toast in the New Year. I especially liked that the menu was great and varied and we were... More

We've dined at Venice more times than we can remember. The first time was a chance encounter and we've returned every chance we get! It is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The dining room is well decorated and the staff is very friendly and hospitable. The friendly owner is usually at the door to greet you... More
