Good Italian even for a chain..

Went here on recommendation of Trip Advisor. The restaurant is very nice inside and we sat at the bar. The bread first of all is awesome. Wine is a little expensive but decent selection. The risotto was very good and the side dishes.

WE used to have an Il Fornaio in the Boulder/Broomfield area and it was one of our fav places to go. Please reopen another one in the Boulder area! Love the open feel of the restaurant, the food and service were excellent, it is a very relaxing place to hang out having a special meal.

We had a dinner for your anniversary. It was unforgettable! I mean everything: the food, the ambience, the servers. It is like a beautiful little world you don't want to leave. We are sure we'll be coming back again and again.

We came here to celebrate a couple of birthdays in our family and really enjoyed our night. A nice choice of entrees, a fine wine list, and delicious (free for your birthday!) deserts made for a fine dinner. Our waitress Beth was superb offering the right amount of attentiveness, and was very helpful with entree suggestions. We wish we could... More

Back here for the 4th time in as many months, and as I live in the UK that must say something good. The high ceilings help prevent the lively atmosphere from becoming too noisy, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is great. this time it was sea bass cooked in olives and tomato, followed by my favourite... As an ex-Kalifornian, I am very familiar with Il Fornaio and have had some of my best restaurant meals at the Irvine branch. But IF-Denver Tech would be a first-time experience for both partner and I. We had been to a movie and arrived on the early side of 5:00 p.m. The place was pretty empty, so immediate seating was... There was 8 of us at dinner, all the food was lovely and the service was great. They also served proper coffee (not the American crap) and split the bill for us. Including wine & shared starters it was approx $140 for the two of us so worked out well for the quality of food. Because it was close to... More

This is a nice place with great service. However the food is good but nothing really special. Do not waste your money order desserts, they are tasteless. The chef should work hard in a new selection of desserts as soon as possible.

In a neighborhood with a lot of mediocre chain food, Il Fornaio stands out for ambience, service, food, and wine. We came in on a very cold night and were seated promptly in front of a fireplace, which set the tone for the evening. Service was attentive and informal, answering all our questions, dealing with special requests, and even laughing... More

I met a friend for lunch on a Thursday and could not have more pleased. The layout is open and tables are not crowded so noise was not a problem. We were seated at a table for four which was quickly modified for two which was nice. Our waitress was well informed and respected our desire to talk and not... More
