Great Tazicki Sauce

I had the gyro and it was very good. Generous portion with the right amount of meat. The pita bread was very good. The Greek salad was tastey and fresh. The service was excellent. The rice pudding desert was very tastey. I didn't care for the chewy rice however.

I'm sorry to say that this was not a good experience. The food quality was average, I've had much better Greek food elsewhere. The gyros my daughter ordered seemed to be the prepackaged kind I can buy and heat myself, the spanikopita was heavy. The fresh baked bread is very nice, and the Greek salad good. It was also very... Reserved a great table with Open Table for dinner with friends on Sat night. Just as good as we remembered from the old location. Food and service were excellent. We asked for a quiet table and were given one in the corner, probably quietest they had. The place was packed and we still were able to have a nice conversation... More

Yanni's used to be located off of Monaco and Evans and was wonderful then. I had not been there until a friend suggested we met at the new location for lunch. The food is still excellent, and the service is first rate.

Out in suburbia in the Denver Tech Center is a wonderful opportunity for great Greek food! Yanni himself will likely visit your table bringing a toast of Ouzo. The lamb and all veggies are especially fine. Nice outdoor patio is open seasonally. Many kid-food possibilities, too--macaroni, etc. The appetizer menu is extensive, with many possibilities, such as octopus or spanikopita.

Our favorite Greek restaurant. Specials are very special, but I love the saganaki and have trouble ordering anything else. Yanni comes around with shots of ouzo and the bar serves up really good mixed drinks. It's a fun place to meet friends, and the food is top notch.

My daughters and I visited Yanni's yesterday evening and the experience couldn't have been better. We elected to sit on the patio and enjoy the sights and flowers. We shared the Village Sampler and the Spanakopita...to start. The Spanakopita was the best any of us have had and you are treated to a BRICK of it. :) Our delightful server... More

Hands down, for me, this is the best Greek food in Denver. The lamb souvlaki is grilled to perfection and the Pasta a la Mykonos with kalamaria changes a typical Italian dish into a traditional Greek taste. Start the evening with the Melizanes Eggplant and finish with the homemade yogurt with honey and nuts. Add the warm hospitality of Yanni... More

We hosted a rehearsal dinner for 17 people. The food was fabulous, the service was attentive without being fussy or intrusive and the owner and staff were very accommodating. We pre-ordered the food (a couple appetizers, three entrees and a dessert, along with wines) and asked that it be served family style. We could not have been more pleased with... More

I lived in Greece for two years, and I just recently moved back. This restaurant was great because Yanni is from Greece and runs his restaurant so that it feels authentic. This is what I noticed that was authentic Greek; Yanni walked around to the tables to make sure everything was satisfactory, the salads were robust, and the slouvlaki was... More
