Middle eastern delight

A security guard named Mel greeted and seated us at Ali Baba. Apparently Mel likes to hang around the place when it is a slow day on the security beat. Food: Decent choice and taste of middle eastern food (I am biased as I grew up in that part of the world and have tasted the "real thing", which in fairness to that restaurant, can only be found in very few places in the US, especially in bigger cities with larger diasporas, such as NY, Chicago, LA, Houston, etc ...)... I have never eaten at a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern Food restaurant before but I'm glad I took a chance. The waiter allowed me to sample some of the dishes before ordering an entree. I ended up ordering Falafal and thought it was very good. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. The restaurant is located in a block full of restaurants.... More

We love eating at Ali Baba Grill. The food is always good and such a big portion for what you pay. My favorite is the combo platter. Their hummus is by far the best hummus we have had at any restaurant. We order take out from Ali Baba almost weekly and it is always wonderful and consistent.

We were not expecting to be wowed by this restaurant based on the reviews here. But we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived later in the evening for dinner ( as usual for us) the place was almost empty at 8pm on a Tuesday. We were not overly hungry so decided to have several appetizers and the Armenian wine. Which is... More

I tried their food and the quality of the food was terrible. Not so fresh and no flavor in the food. Serving Arabian dishes but the food tastes like Mexican. Will not recommend this place.

Ali Baba Grill had a nice selection of middle-eastern staples. The produce is very fresh and the meats are nicely grilled and moist. We were there for dinner on a Monday evening and we were the only customers. I hope there are more customers at lunch, who enjoy the reasonable and well-prepared dishes.

This restaurant is one of many in The Landmark area of Greenwood Village. I think it might be possible to overlook it but don't. The food was absolutely delicious - we went for a night out. We got the grilled shrimp and hummus for appetizers and the Meat Lovers and King Combo plates for dinner. Everything was delicious and authentic... More

I often go to this restaurant. It is rarely crowded and the value is excellent. The food is fresh and home made. It is a great place for vegetarians. The vegetarian platter is perfect for two to split for lunch. It is nice change from typical Greenwood Village fare.

Service was phenomenal - well informed made great recommendations. We had fabulous appetizer that included feta cheese and other fun stuff in won ton wrappers. The lentil soup was fabulous, as was the gyro meat. We absolutely loved our lunch here and highly recommend it!! Oh, and the ambience was nice too....
