Delicious!

Delicious food and great, attentive service. Nice warm atmosphere. Promptly greeted upon our arrival. We did have reservations. We both ordered the osso buco. Probably the best I have ever tasted. Rich sauce with creamy mashed potatoes. Beautifully presented. This was our second visit and... read more

Delicious food and great, attentive service. Nice warm atmosphere. Promptly greeted upon our arrival. We did have reservations. We both ordered the osso buco. Probably the best I have ever tasted. Rich sauce with creamy mashed potatoes. Beautifully presented. This was our second visit and just a great as our first visit. Be sure to order a nice wine with... More

This was the second time visiting the restaurant in six months, and we still enjoyed it, but we dropped it from five to four stars for several reasons. First of all, as I said the first time, this is a pretty pricy restaurant if you are paying full price. Even with a Groupon it isn't cheap, but at least with... More

We were here for restaurant week, but they don't do a restaurant week menu and they don't have to! The meal was wonderful. From start to finish it was a thoroughly realized menu. Food profiles and Wine both. Service was superb. (there when you needed it, away when you wanted the time, conversation when you were delighted) They make most... More

We had a fabulous meal and enjoyed every bite. Had it not been for a special voucher, we probably wouldn't have gone. The menu can be pricey. But the preparation is really, really good! We had the Surryanno Ham Salad and Lola Rossa salad. Spring for the Surryanno - it was dreamy! For entrees we had the Scallops on a... More

First time here, tried the Linguine with Clams & Sausage. Linguine with Clams is one of my favorite dishes as is Sausage, but I never before had them combined. It was outstanding. My wife had the beef and she liked that. The others in our party had ravioli and enjoyed their meals as well. The only negative we found was... More

We are regular customers to the Wooden Table and prior to our visit tonight, have always been very pleased with the service and the food quality. Tonight, we experienced a situation that was very disturbing. Two of the people in our party were vegetarians, and ordered plain Pappardelle noodles with olive oil. The price point for the entree "Pappardelle with... More

One of the things that makes The Wooden Table unique is the option of ordering a 1/2 portion for most of the pasta choices on the menu. I LOVE this idea when I can't decide which one to order. Since the pasta options are always seasonal and flavorful, this happens to me during most of our visits! So... I order... More

Most of Denver's best restaurants are located downtown. This can be a problem for a foodie who lives in the suburbs. The Wooden Table is a solution to that problem. It has a creative, yet dependable, kitchen. The wine list is extensive and interesting. It primarily features Italian wines, some from grapes and regions of Italy with which I am... More

Loved the polenta, the arugula salad, the rabbit. And for dessert, the banana bread pudding. It's made with banana bread, not regular bread plus bananas. Oh, and we had a great Barbera (the cheapest one on the wine list).

The clam linguine was my favorite until I tried some of the other pasta dishes. All were excellent. I love this quiet setting for lunch and dinner.
