Wonderful Mother's Day Dinner

We had a great dinner at the Wooden Table for Mother's Day. Our server, JoHanna, was great, she was friendly, made good wine recommendations, gave us time and checked with the kitchen to make sure that my meal would be gluten-free (I have Celiac disease). We shared the serrano ham salad, I had the... read more

This is consistently one of the best restaurants in Denver. It is truly fine gourmet dining yet in a low-key suburban shopping center with easy access and parking. You are warmly greeted upon arrival and service remains attentive and good. Last night we enjoyed a wonderful salad with grilled lettuce, prosciutto and extras....their Caesar is also always good. Mussels appetizer... More

Just visited this restaurant for the first time and it won't be the last! Wonderful service and unique menu options. It's in a strip mall and the atmosphere is the only reason I didn't rate it higher. The quality of the food and wine were top notch.

Delicious food and great, attentive service. Nice warm atmosphere. Promptly greeted upon our arrival. We did have reservations. We both ordered the osso buco. Probably the best I have ever tasted. Rich sauce with creamy mashed potatoes. Beautifully presented. This was our second visit and just a great as our first visit. Be sure to order a nice wine with... More

This was the second time visiting the restaurant in six months, and we still enjoyed it, but we dropped it from five to four stars for several reasons. First of all, as I said the first time, this is a pretty pricy restaurant if you are paying full price. Even with a Groupon it isn't cheap, but at least with... More

We were here for restaurant week, but they don't do a restaurant week menu and they don't have to! The meal was wonderful. From start to finish it was a thoroughly realized menu. Food profiles and Wine both. Service was superb. (there when you needed it, away when you wanted the time, conversation when you were delighted) They make most... More

We had a fabulous meal and enjoyed every bite. Had it not been for a special voucher, we probably wouldn't have gone. The menu can be pricey. But the preparation is really, really good! We had the Surryanno Ham Salad and Lola Rossa salad. Spring for the Surryanno - it was dreamy! For entrees we had the Scallops on a... More

First time here, tried the Linguine with Clams & Sausage. Linguine with Clams is one of my favorite dishes as is Sausage, but I never before had them combined. It was outstanding. My wife had the beef and she liked that. The others in our party had ravioli and enjoyed their meals as well. The only negative we found was... More

We are regular customers to the Wooden Table and prior to our visit tonight, have always been very pleased with the service and the food quality. Tonight, we experienced a situation that was very disturbing. Two of the people in our party were vegetarians, and ordered plain Pappardelle noodles with olive oil. The price point for the entree "Pappardelle with... More
