A DELICIOUS DINNER IN A BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT

Though this restaurant is not centrally located, it is worth the trip. When our friends told us we were going to a German restaurant, I was a bit hesitant , but I needn't have been. The menu is fantastic and it was hard to choose just what I wanted to eat. The appetizers included everything from... read more

We ate here for the first time recently and were very impressed - the restaurant itself was very nice inside and the booth was very comfortable. We made reservations on Open Table for a Saturday night at 6:00 pm although it was not real busy when we arrived. You have to walk through the bar to get to the hostess... More

We visit fairly often, especially when we are hungry for German. Though more expensive than some of the other places near Denver for this type of food, the Chinook Tavern always provides great meals, service and atmosphere.

Not the ideal location when it comes to Denver restaurants, but it has some of the tastiest food in town. The snitzel is exceptional and the liver is the best in Denver (if you like that kind of thing). Highly recommended. Great bar as well!!

The sliders are the best and even better during happy hour. I had the pleasure to eat and drink for 8 weeks straight and I would recommend it.

I eat here often for business lunches because I work in the building and Chinook is consistently good. I had the Jaeger schnitzel with mushroom gravy, winter succotash, and spaetzel today and it was excellent. The service is always good. The food comes out hot and fresh. My colleague had the lobster mac and cheese, which is rich and creamy.... More

After a very difficult day we arrived at the Chinook Tavern (our first time) on a busy Saturday night without a reservation and had to wait in the bar for a table in the Zermatt room which is specifically designed for fondue and raclette dinners. After seating another customer sitting in the table next to me felt the need to... More

My mother and I had a 1:30 dinner on Christmas Day and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The wait staff was so sweet and attentive. We had the shrimp cakes for an appetizer, which were very tasty. For entrees we had jaeger schnitzel and the duck. We enjoyed them very much, along with the sides. We were happy they were open... More

It is the holidays because I caught this place on an off night. The service was rushed and not very attentive. The food was presented well but the taste was bland. My lamb shank was dry and needed more sauce. The dessert was excellent as was the atmosphere.

This was my first visit to Chinook. I could see that the potential was there for a really nice dining experience, unfortunately I was not that lucky. The food was very good, the service was the opposite. I had the butternut squash soup along with the Wild Mushroom Ravioli. My lunch compaction had the blackened chicken sandwich preceded by a...
