A Little extra cash gets you a great meal

Dined here New Years Eve. Service was fabulous. Food was very good. We have visited Pappadeaux's in Houston and this restaurant is pretty close.

We had been craving seafood and were seated at a table with a window view on a snowy night in a packed house. That made us wonder what we were in for. Well, what we got was amazing service that delivered a wonderful Pappas Greek Salad for two, combined fresh at our table, Redfish Pontchartrain served with the best dirty... More

Highly overpriced cajun styled food FRIED everything. I takes effort to find anything remotely healthy here and the plates of friend food in front of people is quite appalling. Also, because I am allergic to the spices in blackening, I found out from the manager that all the fried food goes into the same vats and exchange spices, so not... More

The food here is very good, with a varied menu. The #1 thing that stood out was the portions. The portions here are HUGE - easily for 2 people or 3 light eaters. The menu seemed very pricey for what you got, but when we saw the portions we realized why. If I ate here again, I would definitely split... More

I have been here many times and have never had a bad meal. I got the shrimp cocktail. I do so appreciate that they bring the horseradish with the cocktail sauce! The shrimp is fresh and very flavorful. I also got a bowl of shrimp gumbo. It is always very tasty. I was also here for lunch a couple of... More

From ages 7 to 70, everyone in our party of 6 was very pleased with the quality of food and service here. The price of a meal was a little higher than I expected, but I will carefully save my pennies to make sure I am able to enjoy the quality, ambience and service that was delivered.

Although it's a chain, Pappadeaux always has great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Their food quality is always very high. To get better, there are just a handful of restaurants in New Orleans.

This place is always crowded but that's okay, it's worth the wait. The seafood here are so good and fresh.... definitely love the lobster appetizer. Even if you don't like seafood, you can still enjoy the other dishes like chicken, pasta, etc.

I took my stuff here for a Christmas lunch and everybody was extremely satisfied with their meal. From the seafood salad to the gumbo to the blackened catfish everybody walked away satisfied. The service was a little slow but considering we had a group of 15 that is sometimes to be expected. We also tried coffee and dessert to round... More

Stopped in for lunch while traveling, easy off and on from I-25. We both had a bowl of the sausage and seafood gumbo and it was the best we've ever had outside of the Big Easy. Oysters, crab meat, shrimp, white fish and sausage melded perfectly with the veggies. Good sized portion that was ideal for lunch along with the... More
