As Close As You'll Get to New Orleans in Denver

My wife and I ate there with another couple for the first time and we were all very impressed. We are big NOLA fans and when we walked into this eatery we felt like we were in a typical Big Easy restaurant. The decor is very attractive, the lighting is just right, and there is that "hum" of... read more

A birthday dinner with 4 special friends on our first ever trip to Denver, so pleased we chose Pappadeaux. Great atmosphere and good service despite how busy the restaurant was that evening. We chose starters to share - crab cakes, calamari and gumbo. The crab cakes were so good that I regret not changing my main dish to another helping... More

I have been to this location before and had good experiences, but not this time. We ordered Caesar salads with our meals and when we received them they were drenched in dressing, way too much and made eating it pretty disgusting. Note - I have had their Caesar salads before and know the dressing is thicker than most places, but... More

First off, very expensive for small portions. I had the stuffed shrimp (2) and it came with French fries and it all fit on a small plate. It was good just felt a little cheated. My daughter had the crab mac-n-cheese and she liked it. My husband had the seafood egg rolls and liked them, as well. However, we all... More

This is the best Lobster Bisque. Overall best New Orleans menus in Denver. I had the crawfish Platter done 2 ways, my friend had the 4 scallops that looked Devine, and delicious. If I had any criticism the Caesars salad was bit heavy handed with the Dijon mustard, but the greens were fresh and crisp.

My girlfriend ( now wife) took me here on my birthday. I've been here several times prior. Great food, good portions and a desert menu that'll bust your gut. Have always had a great dinner here. Clients usually take me here for lunch. Its a good time. Recently received $1000 in gift cards from here so it looks like I'll... More

If you like Cajun style seafood, look no farther thanPappdeaux. My wife and I took a neighbor here to pay him back for a favor he did for us. The food got raves all around. My wife did not have a taste for seafood so she ordered a filet mignon. She said it was very tender and prepared perfectly. I... More

I recently visited Pappadeaux for lunch with family and friends who recommended it. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was excellent, and my meal was outstanding. I had the blackened catfish with red beans and rice, both beautifully prepared and presented. Everything about Pappadeaux was above reproach and I highly recommend it.

The amazing food is worth the sometime long wait to get in (I always make reservations now). It can be a bit noisy inside but the amazing variety and quality of the food cancels it out. The alligator is killer, must try.
