I skipped the salsa!

I'm usually skeptical when people tell me about a good Mexican restaurant, so I wasn't expecting much from Coyote's. I was pleasantly surprised. Let's begin with the service, it was great. For lunch I had the chicken tacos, made with soft corn tortillas. They came with a side of beans and rice... read more

We visit Coyotes once a month or so and prefer sitting in the bar area, but we may be reconsidering that! Maybe with Happy Hour (2-6 daily) and changes if shifts around 5 the existing customers just get ignored or they hope theybwillmleave to open up tables for dinner, but the last few couple of times it has happened and... I'm a mexican food aficionado, and I have had fabulous mexican food from all over the world. From little holes in the walls, to commercial venues (like Coyotes). I didn't care for Coyotes. As others have posted, it's more of a tex-mex place where they cover everything with a weird cheese sauce. The prices are WAY overrated for mexican food.... More

$1.99 margaritas and Shrimp & Lobster Nachos made a night out with friends perfect. That Saturday night the special drink was $1.99 margaritas. The place was packed but the staff was cheerful and efficient. The menu has delicious items that are unique along with a few standards like fajitas. Must try this restaurant!

Awful experience! My husband and two children went in for the first time tonight. We were seated at a small table which felt very cramped, so we asked our server if it would be possible to move to the larger table right next to us. She okayed the move, and gave us our chips and salsa which she spilled all... More

We love this restaurant and also it's sister restaurant "Palomino" in Evans. The menu is HUGE and everything I've tried, I've liked. Saturday is $2 marg/swirl and sangria day and although the sangria is a little weak, it has nice flavor. I don't personally like the marg or swirl. They taste a bit "mixey" for me. Definitely will be back... More

Coyotes is owned by the folks who also own the Palomino Mexican restaurants. The décor is a bit upscale from your typical Mexican place, and the menu is a bit adventuresome...at least the descriptions are. The food is lackluster, with seasonings "Americanized" (not a good thing). The food was okay, but bland. Service was very good, and the ambience is... More

Pleasant, casual mid-scale atmosphere and decor. Nice selection of beyond- basic southwestern food. Traditional chips and salsa served upon being seated. And,though it isn't on the menu, you can receive juevos rancheros, if you ask. A bit more money, but, of course, it isn't Taco Awful, either. Staff is pleasant, service time reasonable. It is a fine place to gather... More

I had the most amazing mussels with chorizo and rice today! They keep making eating Mexican food fun! Check them out! They have a great atmosphere and a variety of things on their menu and some traditional ones as well. Their dessert menu has a good variety of deliciousness on it too! The Margs are unique as well!

Get the nachos app. It's like a personal explosion of flavor in your mouth. The margaritas were on point and the atmosphere is inviting.
