This was some of the best breakfast I've ever had. I'm not a big breakfast eater, usually some coffee and a bagel, but Fat Cat Cafe was amazing for every bite. I'm not sure what much of what I ate was, but it was DELICIOUS. Highly recommended for a wonderful weekend breakfast buffet.

If you are in the area it is worth the trip, even from Winterpark area. The owner is just a blast and you can tell she has a love and passion for what she serves. We had the breakfast buffet and the melody of flavors was incredible. Pairings you would never think worked together but they make it happen here.... More

The breakfast buffet was so good! Love love loved it! The owner was very nice and sweet. I love how she explained the ideas behind her creations! This is a must go to place when you are in grand lakes.

If you are in Grand Lake at Breakfast time, you absolutely MUST have breakfast at the Fat Cat! Each and every meal is handmade here - not a pre-frozen kit. Delicious pies, breads, entrees, thick bacon, just delicious. The service might be just a bit slow, as you might expect, but very personable!

We are second home owners in Grand Lake, CO and can't say enough about the Fat Cat Cafe for breakfast. By far, the best, freshest breakfast meal we have ever experienced. We have eaten there a number of times and never been disappointed. Sally, the owner, takes great pride in her specialties and takes the time to visit with her... More

After a day of skiing this place hit the spot. Might be some of the best soup I've ever had. Didn't have a bad bite of anything. The pie and homemade bread they use for sandwiches was soft and perfect.

We stopped in for a Sunday Brunch and was amazed not only at the wide variety of food, but also the flavor. Every bite was excellent and rich, but not too much. The cost seemed a little high at first, but for what is offered it was a fair price.

When the brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday I defy you to go home hungry. Wow! The pies Rock! We love the soups. We love the place. Get there early on weekends. The line goes outside.

Absolutely love the food at the Fat Cat Cafe . . . so much so that my husband and I ate there twice. Try their homemade desserts and pies! The restaurant is warm and inviting and reminded me of walking into my Grandma's kitchen. Thank you for the wonderful meals.

Our experience at the Fat Cat Cafe this past summer was distressing, as we were turned away when the place closed between breakfast and lunch. However we had breakfast there this past week and it was great. Wait staff and the owner were all warm and friendly and the food outstanding. The homemade pies looked awesome, although we didn't sample... More
