Once we endured the long wait, we were very pleased with the great breakfast buffet. Excellent mix of traditional corned beef hash, thick bacon, specialty sausages, egg dishes, and homemade croissants, pastries and cinnamon rolls. Loved that they had real Scotch eggs and a whole table of pies for breakfast. The coconut pie was outstanding - not a creme pie... More

We've eaten at the Fat Cat before and it was good. However, yesterday we arrived at 10:45 AM and were turned away at the door. The OPEN sign was lit up, the door was open, there were tables available and people were dining inside but we were told they wouldn't seat anyone until 11:15. They were turning everyone away. Not... What a great place to eat. My gosh! The food is tremendous and such a good variety. You most definitely get your money's worth here. The owner is hands on and makes this one of the best values in Grand Lake Co.

Came out of the woods after 3 days of hiking and camping and was looking for a good place to have brunch. We were the last people to enter , but the food was still coming out for us. I maybe wrong , but it appeared that they made a little extra just so we could have some warm food... More

We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table on a weekday morning, and about another 30 minutes for our food once we ordered. We were pretty hungry by the time we got served but it was worth the wait. Service was good and overall it was a good value for the money.

I wish I would have read all the reviews before we went... The staff was mostly friendly and helpful, except the girl who sat us. (Or, I should say, told us where to sit.) She was EXTREMELY rude and not sanitary at all. While we were eating Saturday brunch, she stood next to the desserts and picked at pies with... More

Great huevos rancheros. Friendly staff, quick and fairly well priced. They run a buffet on weekends from 7-1 which we did not try, yet some locals recommended it.

While in the area visiting a friend, my daughter and I had the opportunity to sample several of the local places to eat. For breakfast one morning we decided to try the Fat Cat. The place is kinda small and not extremely fast, but the staff was very friendly and the food was excellent!. We split an order of the... More

There are several great restaurants in Grand Lake. Probably the favorite with regulars is the Sagebrush. If you're tired of it or the line is too long, this is a good option. I had a burger. My son had a French dip with a tasty soup. The buffet was not open. I don't know if that's because of the season... More
