Don't be fooled by the casual atmosphere...The food is 4 Star! We enjoyed the elk and lamb chop specials and it was all prepared to perfection. The service is impeccable. This is an expensive place, but service was great and food was good. We were the only couple there that night we went, it was their slow season. Food was excellent, the owner took care of us, and she was great. The place was decorated with nostalgic pictures and stained glass windows. The fireplace was warm, and the view of... More

Had a nice table overlooking the beautiful river, but when we looked at the prices we had to laugh. I can't believe they get away with it. The entrees were good, but not $40 good, and the soup was actually inedible. The server was nice, the tablecloth was plastic, and maybe it was an off night. I wouldn't go back,... More

Our table was by the window, with a beautiful view of the stream. The food was delicious and plentiful. We started with an excellent shared dish of brie, jelly, and crackers. The steaks were fantastic, huge, and perfectly done. My onion allergy was addressed, and I was given a different vegetable medley. Our server was attentive, without hovering. The four... More

This is a gorgeous restaurant with a view of the river from the window tables. It has so much rustic charm and is just a great place to dine. The food is excellent and the service is great, but it is pricey! The price is probably a little more than the value. But it's a resort town soooooo.....Check their website... More

The restaurant and outdoor dining overlook the stream, providing a wonderful atmosphere for guests who have come to the area to experience the beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park. The menu is excellent, the food well prepared and the drinks well mixed. Service was outstanding. I'd return the next time I'm in the area and would look into staying at the... More

We really enjoyed the experience. The food was great! We had a seat by the window with a beautiful view of the creek. My husband had the Filet and I had the scallops, great tasting but overpriced.
