We have got used to the large servings in the USA but nothing prepared us for the ribs, most of which we took back to the hotel with us. Excellent food and service, would definitely eat there again.

We had the pulled pork and it was great. The locals even hang out here and that's always a good sign.

We really enjoyed the BBQ. The gal helping up got our order wrong though and was very, very slow... otherwise I woudl have given it an "excellent" rating. Seemed like a popular place. Many TV for football games.

Four friends and I ate at the Sagebrush after a 4 day backpacking trip in RMNP. We were hungry coming off the trail and were not disappointed with the portions as all but one of us had the full rack of ribs. The ribs were meaty and pretty tasty but the smaller bones on one end were a little dry.... More

The place is always crowded but I was able to get in recently. first, the hostess just looked at me with a blank stare. I asked for a table and she took me to the worst spot in the place. I should have left then...I ordered...once somebody could get there to take my order. The sausage seemed to have been... More

I would say between 3 and 4 stars for the Sagebrush BBQ. The BBQ pulled pork was ok, mine came lukewarm and drenched in sauce. My side of baked beans was overly salty but luckily they gave me a tiny portion. Kids mac and cheese was microwaved Easy Mac. The vegetable sides do look pretty good. There aren't many dining... Salad was mostly iceberg lettuce (crunchy water) and prime rib was O.K. but not great. Ground horseradish was Atomic, a real treat, and the spinach was very good, wilted and buttery. Service was very good and it was great being paged on my cell phone when our table was ready.

My husband and I visited Grand Lake the weekend 8\31\2012 and ate at this restaurant in the evening. We each had the ribs. The ribs are delicious. They give you a lot of meat on each rib. My husband ordered a full rack which he could not eat and he is a big eater. I ordered the half rack and... More
