It's a shame that good restaurants fail when terrible establishments like this remain. Terrible food was overshadowed by even worse service. Think soup-nazi-meets-prison-food. Honestly, it was so bad that after we ate we stood outside and warned other families not to waste their time and money. Grand Lake is a popular tourist destination, so I suppose they make enough from... More

We were seated fairly quickly but that was the only positive thing about this place. The waitress greeted us and took our drink and food order after we had been waiting 10 minutes. Live band was okay but only brought in more people which they could obviously not handle. After 45 minutes of waiting for even a beer, having the... More

We were lured in by the presence of a live musician and wanted to eat outdoors, sheltered from the wind. That much they did well. Oh, they also allowed us to bring our golden retriever on the deck and promptly provided a bowl of water for him. Props to them! The only other positive was that they were running beer... More

The first thing I noticed was a dirty floor, but I chose to give it a go anyway, since our options were limited. To start off, they were out of almost half of the items on the menu. Since it was off season, we let it go and ordered what was available. I ordered Chicken Marsala and it was great.... More

Horrible service, food and overall establishment. They were out of several things on the menu that we weren't told about until 10 minutes after ordering. Out of Bloody Mary's? Food was cold. Service was slow and never apologetic. And the Bloody they were out of still showed up on the bill. Start paying attention to the details and fix this... More

We were hungry and stopped into this place to read the menu. The beer list was extensive, and the food all sounded great, so we decided to take a seat. First thing we noticed was that the place was oddly arranged and it was next to empty during dinner hours. Our waiter was very quiet, seemed very unhappy, and nearly... More

We first attended a function with drinks and small plates. The drinks were very good, but the food was off. The temperature was wrong. What should be hot, was warm, etc. So, we gave it another try. We were the only ones in the dining room and now I know why. The service was good. The waitress was doing her... More

Food was okay. Nothing special about an oyster poboy. However the larger problem is the amount of waste this place generates. Ordering a soda? Here's a bottle of it. Eating outside? Here's all single use materials to throw away. Would avoid this place if you have any environmental conscious.

Loved the menu with the huge range of cajun and creole dishes. The dining space was less than pretty, with buckets placed around the room catching water from a badly leaking roof. Almost did not go in because it looked so bad, but very glad we gave it a shot. We had the smoked salmon with cream cheese and herbs,... More

Steak overcooked (beyond well done). Staff friendly but lacked knowledge of menu and side dishes (served completely different sides than we were told). Drinks served in paper cups and silverware was "grab your own" out of dirty cup on table. Have a beer and enjoy the band but plan on eating somewhere else.
