I was totally disgusted when I found out that this bakery uses all of its old crusty cinnemon rolls and pasteries to create new pasteries. Once the pasteries cannot be sold to customers, Candy, the owner takes these disgusting old and probably bacteria laden pasteries and re-uses them. She crushes them all up and puts them in a pitcher of... More

We stopped there for lunch today. The place itself is a hodgepodge but the food is incredible! Turkey Cranberry on a Flat Bread--Fantastic. The flatbread was the best bread I ever had! Tomato Basil soup was delicious Elk Bratwurst on a hoagie bun was super. I've never had Elk meat before. It is very strong. Mixed Berry Coffee Cake--we had... More

We had the berry coffee cake which was very good and the cheese bagel which was too doughy. Watch the change you get back, not sure but I think the gal was giving herself a small tip lol

I like that they have a few different vegetarian items on the menu (instead of the token entree that most restaurants offer, a frozen Garden Burger patty) and that some of the dishes seem more creative in terms of ingredients and flavors than standard cafe fare. Portions are also on the larger side. But despite the somewhat creative menu, food... More

We sat outside and had an elk bratwurst sandwich and Italian chicken sandwich with tomato soup. It was all, fresh and tasty and I would recommend this spot for a nice lunch.

The bakery and food quality is fantastic. Service is regularly slow and they struggle "out of their box." If you have plenty of time its a must visit.

Have eaten here a few times, Morning rush is a long line. Staff is very rude, and expect a tip for reluctantly taking an order. If you are not a local, then good luck getting a smile or a friendly interaction. The food is good, bagels and cream cheese with lox is not bad. Don't ask to have your bagel... More

We stopped by Blue Water Bakery for lunch with our friends. It was good value and they had tasty food. I really enjoyed their Italian Chicken hot sandwich. They have a small deck outside with a narrow but nice lake view.

Fresh baked scones, muffins, crescents, and cookies to go with the coffee or tea of your choice. The blueberry muffins were tops. There are also several small bookcases of for the customer to read on rainy afternoons. Near the beach.
