Each meal we ate there was delicious. Betty's baked goods are especially delicious. The prices of the meals have gone up a bit (but so has everything else). The sad news is that they just sold the restaurant after 15 years of great meals and service.

Loved the breakfast and service. Grabbed some excellent pie for the road. My wife and I will definitely be back soon.

Don't miss out. If you want breakfast then this is your place to go. Hot and tasty home cooking and lots of choices and combos. Certainly nothing fancy inside or from the outside. But who cares? We came for the food. Fast friendly service and very thankful and genuine. My kind of place to go. Everything was great. Can't go... More

My husband and I had a sausage and mushroom pizza for lunch. The homemade crust and sauce was very good as were the toppings. Lots of cheese too. The service was very nice and accommodating. We didn't try the pie but it looked delicious.

Hearty, well prepared Home Cookin' I like some veggies with my traditional breakfast and they have a nice selection you can add to your Biscuits and Gravy or other dish. You can get cream gravy instead of green chili on your Breakfast Burrito if you want, too.

For many years we have been traveling to Grand Lake and passing by this place. I always noticed the "Fried Chicken to Go" sign in the window but we never stopped for some reason. Finally we decided to give it a try. Wow! Yes the chicken is a small spring chicken, but was delicious! We wanted to take a picnic... More

It's now called Grand River Cafe. We ordered the chicken and found out they only serve "spring chicken" so they are small, very small, but the flavor was very good. We got the 10 piece and it fed the two of us. Another day we went in for lunch and enjoyed the fish and chips. It's less expensive than going... More

The fried chicken here is remarkably flavorful and tasty. Unfortunately, the pieces are extremely small. To their credit, they do let you know that in advance so that you can order the larger package to make sure you have enough to feed everyone.

Just average. Average prices, average food. Nice staff, plenty of parking. If you want breakfast this is one of the few GL places to get it. "I'll be having the average eggs and toast, please".

First of all, the cinnamon rolls here are TO DIE FOR! They are homemade and truly delicious. Ask to have it warm with butter. YUMMY! My husband and I travel to Colorado every year and stop by Betty's to have a couple of sandwiches on her homemade potato rolls, home cut fries and homemade coleslaw (see the pattern here?). We...
