The last 2 times I have come to this restaurant, it has been a struggle. A month ago, I had friends on a motorcycle trip from S. Carolina, Florida and Nebraska visiting. I'm a local, so we rode over Trail Ridge Road with Grand Lake Lodge as our destination. The waitress was flustered and apologetic. She said they got slammed,... More

After driving Trail RIdge Road from Estes Park, we made a stop at the Grand Lake Lodge for a cool drink and a pottie break. It is situated aboce Grand Lake and offers a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding area. Nice swings on the front porch for relaxing and enjoying the views. Rustic old lodge and we would... The room was mostly taken up by a king size bed with a pretty firm mattress. No air conditioning, just a fan. Not a problem. We loved the lodge and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The Sunday Brunch from 10-3 was good and the price was right - $21.95

We dined at the Grand Lake Lodge restaurant for Sunday brunch on Father's Day and were fortunate enough to be seated by the large window in the main dining room overlooking the beautiful view of Grand Lake. Service was average, but the food was very good. Brunch featured all you could eat breakfast items such as scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon,... More

We heard about this place and it's great view from the porch in the dinning room. Went there with four people and where told that the porch was full, so we sat inside and watched two tables on the porce sit there empty for over 10 minutes. Hmmm, we where not to happy about that, but did not say anything.... More

After several nights missing dinner because we stayed out looking for moose, we hit this restaurant for an early 5 p.m. meal, with access to the full menu. Pork and chicken dishes proved tasty, with attentive service and a decent bottle of wine. Views at our outdoor table included Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake and a golden mantled ground squirrel... When in last year asking restaurant staff about larger bookings and what they have in place as far as policies for 20-35 ppl, I was told to check back with them in the spring about 6 weeks before the event. That way I could confirm numbers as well. With over 40 PPL coming into town for a reunion from all... More

We were seated and ordered our drinks. It took about fifteen minutes get our drinks. We then ordered lunch. The waiter kept coming by to tell us it would be a few more minutes. After almost an hour with no food,we spoke to the manager who did not really care about the service. We left and went somewhere else. We... More

Grand Lake Lodge is a very handsome main building that serves as check in counter, gift shop, lobby and restaurant for lodge guests and drive in customers. There is a eating area inside but in good weather the big draw is the screened in porch which overlooks spectacular views of Grand Lale and a surrounding curtain of 13,000 foot mountains.... More
