626 on Rood is a 5-star experience. Sometimes I find myself adding "...for Grand Junction." but not in this case (I feel this way about The Pullman in Glenwood Springs as well). The service, for starters, was sublime. Angelina was friendly, but formal. She was obviously well versed in both the food & wine, and had an authentic appreciation for... More

We love this place. The food is delicious, made from local produce whenever possible, is consistent, creative and interesting. Highly recommended for either lunch or dinner. The servers know a lot about the wine and can steer you towards something you will enjoy.

My husband called to make reservations, told them it was our Anniversary & on the Menu, when we were seated, was Happy Anniversary Sherry & Gary! How sweet is that? I ordered the pork tenderloin and my hubby the beef tenderloin. TO HEAVEN A BACK FOR US BOTH!! Food like no other we ever tasted. I was ready to pick... More

We go to 626 about once a month. The menu is inspired, the wine and beer choices always offer good variety , the waitstaff is excellent.. Always knowledgeable and attentive. We travel extensively and have dined at great restaurants all over the world but when we are home in Grand Junction, 626 is a frequent choice.

The atmosphere is very nice, classy and quiet with an outdoor patio. The food is very good and the service was exceptional. The bar could use a little work on their drink making skills.

Went to 626 on Rood, when we were on a weekend birthday trip to Colorado. Found this restaurant in the downtown area, got there about 6:00 p.m. on a Thursday. No one was in the restaurant. The food was good but the price were very high. Ordered a bottle on wine and the waitress had no information about their wine... More

Wrote about them just over a year ago. Had had a fantastic dinner and wine. Just astonishing for Grand Junction. Now wow has it gone down hill. The buzz is gone. We came in on a Friday night and only 3 other couples were there. That should have been the warning. Service was just not there and food was ok... More

Been here a few times and will not be going back. Their food is good but their prices are out of this galaxy for Grand Junction. How they can justify over $10 for a drink is beyond reason. Apparently they still have enough people who don't care about value and are willing to pay their astronomical prices since they are... More
