626 Elevates the G J dining scene and experience

Basically, it was a good time, meal was very good. However, we showed up Saturday at about 5:30 p.m. -- usually (in GJ) early enough to never have to worry about waiting nor crowd's. A tall ( ~ 6' 3") blonde fellow asked if we had reservations (no one was there! except at the bar) and of course... read more

Stopped in for happy hour and enjoyed appetizers at the bar. Extensive wine list includes some surprisingly good local wines. Our meal was great and featured a lot of local produce. It's pricey but worth it.

We went here for our anniversary after reading all of the great reviews. I'm sorry to say we were disappointed. I don't mind paying an arm and a leg for outstanding food but this just wasn't outstanding. We began with the heirloom tomato appetizer and it was delicious but small (when paying the bill we realized our server got us... More

I've been to 626 for lunches, happy hour with friends and for dinners and I always leave happy and full. This place is a little pricy, but you absolutely get what you pay for. The food and drinks are amazing! And just as important, the waitstaff is well trained as to what is in the food, how it is prepared,... More

If you like exotic dishes I guess it's great. I took a friend there from out of state and neither one of us like the appetizers, we had the liver pate' 😝, It use to be a good place. Over priced and not worth it.

We went for lunch. The menu is very different, and a lot of new things to try if you are an adventurous eater. If you are a picky eater, this may not be the place for you. I had the 1/2 Duck Salad. It was fabulous. the half size was perfect for lunch. The Falafel looked great, and my friend... More

We went there for our anniversary. While far from inexpensive, we had a lovely dinner with attentive service. The wine is wonderful on tap. So many choices! The food was great and they even gave us a crime brulet dessert with a sparkler for our celebration.

Discovered this restaurant through TA. The reviews are not wrong. Came in on a Thursday night. Not busy at all so it wasn't very noisy. After a long day of traveling it really hit the spot. We were able to order some signature cocktails, relax, have some of the BEST tomatoes ever as an app. (I'm picky about tomatoes, they... More
