Should have tried the Southwest menu selections

Our experience was only average. The seafood and dinner portion of the menu seemed expensive vs. the quality of the food. The Teriyaki Sirloin was surprisingly disappointing especially as the steak was rather tough. We also had the Battered Shrimp which was also average. However, we noticed the... read more

Our experience was only average. The seafood and dinner portion of the menu seemed expensive vs. the quality of the food. The Teriyaki Sirloin was surprisingly disappointing especially as the steak was rather tough. We also had the Battered Shrimp which was also average. However, we noticed the people around us were all enjoying the Southwest portion of the menu.... More

We were motorcycling across the country and stopped overnight in Grand Junction. The hotel was nearby, and we were tired, so we headed out to eat someplace nearby. Although "no substitutions" is clearly marked on the menu, it was not problem for this crowd. We ate well, took desserts back to the hotel staff, and would go back again. The... More

My wife and I had eaten here many years ago and had been very pleased, so we thought we'd try it again. Huge mistake! We ate early in the evening to avoid crowds...ordered Mexican food. Thought chips would be complimentary- but they charged extra for them so we just ordered the entrees. When we ordered waters instead of alcoholic beverages,... More

There are very few restaurants in Grand Junction that can keep food consistently good every time you visit. WW Peppers serves a Southwestern Style food that never gets old. A favorite of mine is Blue Almond Enchiladas or a rare steak, followed by strawberry nachos. The atmosphere is a quiet, great for Anniversary”s, Birthdays, and any special occasion for family... I was first introduced to this restaurant three years ago and was pleasantly surprised with the outstanding food...everything is homemade and fresh. Beautiful original artwork from famous artists. Atmosphere is like going to someone's home. Very reasonably priced.

I've never been to a restaurant that refuses to make a single change to an order. If you are vegetarian stay away! With everything on the menu including meat there is only one option from the children's menu. When asked if a dish could be prepared without chicken or beef the waitress explained that nothing inside can be changed. This... More

We went here with mixed reviews so we were skeptical. Our server lacked personality but we were determined to make this a positive experience. We ordered the mushroom parmasan api and it was delicious. Then we split the ww pepper steak burrito and it was more than enough for two. The steak was cooked to perfection and the beans were... WW Peppers has a great menu with a mixture of steaks and upscale Mexican food. Our group had a great New York Strip that was very tender(without chemical additives) and cooked to perfection. The Carne Asada was tender, well flavored and came with a full assortment of condiments and sides. The Chimichanga plate had one beef and one chicken Chimichanga-one... More

If you like Mexican fare you'll like it here. Kind of a rowdy place but enjoyable. Don't go expecting a super wine list but go for the cold beer and easy, casual menu. Out by the airport so if you have a layover and don't want to trek into Main street GJ try this place.

Staying overnight in GJ and just had dinner at WW Peppers on the recommendation of our hotel. We asked for a place that had good food and a relaxing atmosphere after driving several hundred miles. The decor is classy western with a small separate bar area. We were seated and offered beverages immediately. Our waitress, Tammy was attentive, but not... More
