Having lived in Phoenix for 33 years, I know Mexican/southwestern cuisine. WW Peppers is right up there with the best. I had the chimi, small portion and it was huge. Yes you have to pay for chips and salsa but the chips are great as are the two salsas, all homemade. And you can take home what you don't eat.... More

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Grand Junction, we often go here for "date nights" or special events. Anytime we have visitors from out of town, this is one of the restaurants we plan to take them to. The food is always great, fresh and presented nicely. I love the Royal Burritos (made with elk tenderloins) and my... More

This has been a constant good choice. There are the top shelf restaurants downtown, but this is a good second tier place. Dark & cozy for a serious date. Probably not the place for a serious business mtg. Food and choices are better than avg. Locals don't care for it because of price. I can only hope they go to... More

Had a good dinner here tonight, walked from our hotel (Marriott Courtyard). We had a margarita, chips and salsa, enchiladas supreme, crab enchiladas and an extra side of green chile. All were good, a little tame on the heat factor for us but we like it hot. An extra star for our excellent waitress and other friendly wait staff. A... More

I'm surprised to read that another reviewer thought the food was bland. It is anything but! They serve an appetizer that is to die for...portabella mushrooms stuffed with cheese and crab with a seafood sauce with a kick and more cheese. Their filet mignon is second to none...a little pricey but well worth it. The service is ALWAYS great. We... More

We were advised this place by the hotel and judging by the number of visitors it should be good. However we found the food very bland and without any effort to make it taste even slightly other than ordinary. Service was fine. If you are hankering for a good juicy steak you may want to try another establishment.

My whole life I was raised a vegetarian and was asked to attend a lunch at WW Peppers with a friend. When I asked if I could remove the beef from an entree I was denied by the chef and owner of the restaurant. This was an entree that already had beans in it. It was not as if I... More

This is a great locally owned restaurant with a southwest flair that we bring our out of town visitors to. The food is great (I always get the Chicken Enchiladas). All the meals are delicious whether you are in the mood for chicken, steak or seafood. When we go out to eat with our out of town business partners, friends... More

We needed a drink and appetizer after a long motorcycle ride. Bar area is laden with 70-80's style boring décor. Bright overhead lighting, small 3' round table at corner bench seating for 4-5. WAY overpriced "house Cab" wine...$9.50. Chips and queso were tasty but the décor was just so lame. Put a little bit of $$$ into more subtle lighting... More

Food was standard Southwestern fare, but we give this restaurant top marks for friendly staff, nice ambience, and overall very enjoyable meal. Waited 20 min to be seated as it was very busy on a Friday evening, no problem as there was a nice bar and friendly bartender so the wait time passed quickly. Even though the place was full,... More
