We had lunch at the Main Street Café as we were passing through on the way from Telluride to Salt Lake City to catch a plane the next day. There happened to be some sort of festival happening right down the street from the Café with music, vendors selling their wares, etc. It was fun. The Café... read more

When I go to GJ I like to have an old fashioned lunch at on the sidewalk at the Main Street Cafe. Old school diner or soda shop decor and menu. Not fancy just good. Well priced.

When my grandkids come to visit, this is where they ask to go. Main Street Grand Junction is a fun walk on the serpentine street and this place offers a great menu. If weather permits, we always eat outside. Many times there will be a musician playing close by. We order burgers and they don't mind special requests. Their shakes... More

My wife and I go to Main Street Cafe almost every second Sunday morning. The brunch menu is always outstanding--although I really do prefer the Huevos Rancheros.

If you're looking for a fancy place for breakfast then this is not your place, but if you're looking for Denny's type breakfasts but with a 50's Diner atmosphere, and great prices, then check this place out. Waitress was super nice and attentive to our needs, food was no frills, just what I expected. Will I eat there again, absolutely.... More

A simple diner with affordable prices and decent quality food. I have never walked away being disappointed, but also never walked away feeling like it was the best meal in town.

Good food, and our visit was a while back. It definitely needs some "'spiffing" up in there. Didn't feel all that "clean"

American food served in American style at reasonable prices at the lunch counter (salvaged from Grand Junction's Ben Franklin Five and Dime store), booths, period kitchen tables and chairs and on the wide sidewalk out in front next to the fountain on the historic Main Street Mall. The entire restaurant is decorated with 1950's and 1960's mementos collected by the... More

A friend of ours recommended stopping here for breakfast while we were in town visiting, and it was a great start to our mini-cation. As we walked in we saw a menu board with a special that included an omelet stuffed with sausage, portabella mushrooms, cheddar cheese, and jalapenos. The décor has a 50's diner theme which was cool. Once... More

The cafe looks cute and the 50's music playing is a nice touch. The food was good and reasonably priced. Our order came out probably less than ten minutes after we ordered which was great, super quick! The servers were friendly, but the reason my rating isn't higher is because they were very keen to have us pay our bill... More

Amy: I want to apologize for you and your friend being made to feel uncomfortable, this is not how we operate. We pride ourselves in customer service and you are welcome to stay as long as you wish, some customers stay for hours enjoying the music and atmosphere. Our waitresses do carry their banks, but they only need to tell... More
