Terrific service time after time

The Blue Moon is a staple in Grand Junction and a staple for me for lunch or Happy Hour. All of their dishes are ALWAYS consistent - some must-try's are the flaming saganaki and the Monte Christo! I love their specialty drinks and they change them up frequently. The bartenders and waitresses are... read more

Once more, the Salmon Caesar was excellent. I just wish it was a little brighter inside at lunchtime. Especially in the winter months, when days are so short as it is. I sort of feel like I'm sneaking off to a bar in the middle of the day instead of eating at a restaurant.

Whenever we hit Grand Junction for a shopping run, or just for fun, we always stop at the Blue Moon for a sandwich ... It's an old building that was probably a soda fountain shop back in the day. This place has great ambience. The service is always great and the food as well. They have a wide range of... More

I had lunch here and was impressed food is great and so is the service. I have passed this places probably a hundred times and I am glad I finally stopped in, I am just sad it took so long to eat here! I can not say enough nice things about the service.

The date of our visit doesn't go back far enough. We found it to dark and dank. The service was on the slow side.

Coming from a remarkably smaller town we weren't quite sure where to start when it came to the Grand Junction restaurant scene. Luckily our friend took us here for a good bite to eat. After surfing through the menu for a bit my wife ordered a lamb burger, and I settled on a tuna steak sandwich. The sandwich was pretty... More

Passing through Grand Junction and stopped here....should have gone to McDonalds. Watery corn chowder-followed by rock hard potatoes and cold vegetables. The small serving of salmon was warm. Waitress asked if I wanted her to bring out more of the sides but I feel that if the cook was comfortable sending crap out the first time......would he really do better... More

The prices were too high for the portions that we received. The food was average quality as well. They did not snap it up with a side or a bigger portion. It did not help that there were some very rowdy people (more than most sports bars) that was spoiling our view of the game. As soon as the bill... More

I have gone several different times for lunch, and have not yet had a bad meal. The Gyro is one of the best sandwiches, and if you want a splurge, the Monte Cristo is to die for, but if you are watching calories, it is NOT the sandwich for you. The Lamb burger is phenomenal as well, and the salads... More

Stumbled into town for lunch and just happened to see the place near the old downtown area. Had an exceptional burger. Very friendly staff. A very inviting statue adorns the outside seating area.
