The place was packed & we got on the waiting list, normal for a Saturday night. The hostess was slow, multiple people waiting & it was taking 20 minutes or more to clear empty tables. Then when she did get the tables cleared she started seating other parties ahead of us that had arrived after we did. After this happened... More

I dined here last night with a friend, and it was a mistake. It started badly when we entered, and never improved. When we entered the restaurant, a server was near the Sushi bar, but was more interested in flirting with the Sushi Chef than greeting a customer. Once we were seated, my friend ordered hot tea. I wanted to... More

The front entry is a bit funky but once you are in and sitting the food is top notch. The sushi is good and the prices are reasonable. This is not a trendy sushi place but the sushi is the best in town. White Star and Spicy Tuna rolls are our favorites. But sit at the small counter and ask... More

Not recommended. Bland flavorless food. Nice people serving, but the food was totally bland and unappetizing.

This is my third trip to this restaurant in the last few months. The food is always really wonderful, service has been consistently slow. I don't mind the slower paced service because I always have company with me that I enjoy spending time with, but I'm not sure I'd go here for a quick lunch.

Referred to us by a friend, but when we saw the storefront we almost had second thoughts...not the finest on the street, but than goodness we didn't judge that book by its cover. The seating options include regular table, sushi bar and traditional (a short table with a cavity under the table for feet and legs). An expansive menu and... More

Like the title states. There is only one other legitimate option for good sushi in Grand Junction, and it is owned and run by the son of the owner at Suehiro. This is the original and is still the best. Both places are good, but the prices, quality and atmos at Suehiro is the winner.

I was on a business trip and went here for dinner, which was recommended by the locals - the soft shelled crab sushi was perfect, and the tuna on fried seaweed was very different and a meal in itself - enjoyed it alot

The food was excellent. I'm a sushi lover and I find myself trying new things everywhere I go, and I had some really good, different, interesting, amazingly good ingredients in each roll @ Suehiro. We ordered the Poison Ivy roll, the Mango Tango roll and one with peach in it that I can't remember the name of it. The rolls... More

Maybe I'm just spoiled having eaten sushi in big cities like Boulder, Denver, Cleveland, San Francisco and Miami that it might be unfair to judge this so harshly, but it just wasn't anything to write home about. Neither the service or the taste stood out for me. Sushi & Rok still better so far.
