Very average meal and service. Something in the walk in was imparting a unpleasant taste to butter and vegetables.

I am so glad that we ate at Le Rouge rather than one of the higher rated restaurants in Grand Junction. It is excellent from beginning to end. To begin with, you have a choice of atmosphere, the vibrant bistro-style outdoor seating, the mahogany bar, or the dining room complete with white tablecloths and roses. We chose the latter. To... You no those restaurants you just can't wait to go to again and again. This is not one of those!!! The waiter did not even mention the specials that they had. The food was just okay! I've had meals just as good and not as expensive as at Le Rouge.

My wife and I stopped in recently (my second time) specifically for wine, atmosphere and, most importantly, the Duck Leg Confit. We were not disappointed. Service with a smile, a nice wine selection and smooth guitar on the patio were all a great accompaniment to the Duck Leg Confit. The Charlie Chaplin movies were a nice touch, too!

As a resident of Grand Junction, LeRouge has been a favorite of mine for some time. The wait staff is very attentive, and the food is always excellent. The cocktails, and wine at the bar always compliment the dining experience.

The food here is a cut above, and the service is very good - though I really threw the bartender by ordering a Kir, which is a standard French aperitif.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner. I had the Magret De Canard. It was delicious! My husband loved the Escargot. By far the best meal we've had in Grand Junction. Well worth the price!

I've eaten at le Rouge a dozen or so times. I've loved every dish-- from the entries, to the salads and appetizers. The recipes and food preparation rival any five star restaurant in any city that I've visited. Wine selection and excellent cocktails, service, and ambience round out an excellent dining experience each time. I've never been disappointed.

Let me start by saying the food was very good. Pork chop was undercooked, but in a french way that made it juicy and good. Usually I am not too concerned about service, but I guess this time I felt ignored. Two different waiters and maitre'd waited on us, and we ended up with no one even mentioning the specials.... More
