A large venue, lots of activity, a huge bar, lots of tables, and a great place to get dinner. Lots of choices, but we opted for the Elk and the Bison burgers. Both were excellent. Perfectly cooked. Great side salads. Good beer on draft. Not hard to find and worth the effort.

Fun for drinks. Great atmosphere. Friendly bar tenders. Young crowd. Good drinks. Occasional band. Pretty good for a small town bar. Oh and has a great alley in back to smoke a joint if you like that sort of thing.

Enjoyed a nite out with family prior to leaving for home. The portions were good size. Quick on the drink refills.

The food we had was very good. I had the elk meatloaf and my friend tried the elk burger. Both tasted great and hit the spot. The waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable and came back several times to make sure everything was good. The beer, however was disappointing. One selection was advertised as very hoppy, but was so sour it... More

I had a major deja vu moment upon arrival as I had dined at the locations previous incarnation. What had been a kinda frumpy kinda fine dining place has been gutted and replaced by an absolutely kickin' brew pub. A huge variety of beers on tap, with plenty of regional and seasonal offerings. Site of my first Breckenridge 471, but... More

Ate at The Ale House after attending the Grand Junction Air Show. What a perfect end to an outstanding day. The staff were top of the notch from the moment we walked in. Very friendly, accommodating and professional. The food was exceptional as was the relaxed setting...we chose to dine outside. Will definitely return next time we're in Grand Junction.

Very very noisy. Very poor service. Very long wait to be seated and food was given to us to go (and for free) after about an hour after ordering. The manager was very nice and appologized about the service.

The Ale House has a warm ambiance with a variety of seating areas, from the well-lit to the more romantic, cozy sections. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The waiters are excellent, and appear to love their work. They typically have bubbly personalities, but are attentive and professional.
