great restaurant

We have been here as a family or just a couples date night. It is always a great place to go. Food is always delicious and the service has been great. We will definitely go back. The interior is nice, not real noisy. It can be a casual place or more dressy.

Try the Sesame Crusted Ahi or the Chicken Satays. You will be so satified you might want to downsize or forego dinner! We had a relaxing experience until our waiter came and said he was handing us off to someone else because he was going home sick. Next we witnessed that he was still hanging around doing a shift meal/drink.... More

Loved the microbrews and the food! We had lunch here today after our "Black Friday" shopping trip . Enjoyed our time at the Ale House. Service was Great and so were our sandwiches and drinks. We'll be back next trip out to GJ!

This is a great place to hang out. Their food is above average for pub food and they have a pretty large selection of good beers. If the weather is warm, sit outdoors in the park-like patio. It is the best patio in town, really large with lots of shade and grass. They often have live music which adds to... More

Some friends of ours took us out for dinner one evening. The conversation was good. The Nitro Vanilla Porter flowed. The food pretty good until dessert, which was a chocolate cherry cake with a scoop of vanilla on top, which the vanilla turned out to be the savior as the cake was pretty well dry. The meatloaf with mashed potatoes... More

Great atmosphere & attentive servers. Food was great & we didn't have to wait long. The roasted chicken pot pie is to die for! I am sure it has a few thousand calories, but worth every one of them for a splurge. I have had their salads, and they are fantastic, as is their fish tacos.

There are several good brewpubs in Grand Junction but the Ale House may have the best beer selection. They certainly have the best outdoor patio. It's in the back with nice trees, grass and lights. Even the traffic noises are buffered by the landscaping. Good happy hour with reasonable prices and consistently good appetizers. The Ale House is very popular... More

Decent food and friendly staff. I had two meals there. One was the buffalo burger before the rest of my group arrived and it was pretty good. The second meal was a larger party of about 20, the restaurant handled us well and the meal was good. Similar to a Chili's or Cheddar's, good food, service and reasonably priced but... More

The Ale House was a great stop for dinner. Had the Smoked Chicken Pot Pie, Cesar Salad, and outstanding Sweet Potato and Carrot Soup (was NOT too sweet). The service was outstanding - the waitress was very good (she was really busy too). Very clean restaurant and food was outstanding. Had the Canyon Road Merlot from Central Coast, CA -... More

We eat here every time we are in GJ, which is about 2X per year for the past 2 years. The food and drinks are great. Recently tried the 50/50 burger and it was excellent. Also liked the Apricot Beer. I hear the chicken satay is also great. Enjoy!
