Nothing special, needs a deep cleaning

Food and drinks were average. At first appearance it looked on the higher-end of places, but once we settled in at the bar its not as nice as first thought. Behind the bar, the floors, windows...everything just looked dirty. Furniture was broken and scraped up. Probably would only stop back in for... read more

We drove up to Granby on a whim as it was just too cold and windy to ski that day and stopped at Brickhouse 40 for lunch. It was mid week, it wasn't busy so it's hard to say how the staff would operate during peak times but that day they were friendly and attentive. The menu had a very... More

Having had some average fare the night before, we had higher hopes for Brickhouse 40. In fact, they exceeded our expectations. Brickhouse has mainly Mediterranean (Greek, Italian) cuisine plus some steaks for those wanting something more "Western." Everything the four of us had was delicious - quality ingredients, well seasoned, well prepared, and well presented. We started with a nice... More

Searching for a somewhat upscale restaurant with options of tasty appetizers, steak, seafood and of course a chef who knows what he's best at, we found the Brickhouse 40 in Granby Colorado. With history dating back to 1927, this restaurant met our expectations in good service, appealing dishes and friendly atmosphere.

We had a very good pizza at Brickhouse 40 but the best part, was the friendliness of the bartender Liz. She made our visit very enjoyable and was a lot of fun to talk with.

I called, made a reservation, arrived on time 40 minutes later, wore a sport coat, and after I entered, waited 5 minutes before a server came over and told me that there was no food and come back another time. Half a dozen other tables were occupied by diners. That's a first. I did not go back.

The restaurant was clean and the service was good. The meals were well prepared; however, the waitress did not know how the special was made, which could have been bad if I had an allergy instead of just an intolerance. The specially made loudemakes (a homemade beignet-like pastry) were amazing. The prices are a little high and it's not quite... More

We went to this restaurant on the advice of our resort staff. This was on the night of the Ohio/Oregon football game, so we expected a crowd. When we walked in we were greeted by a visibly distressed waitress. She told us they were short-staffed, but we could sit in the front at a bar table. There were several tables... More

You can tell the restaurant owner has small kids - the kids menu has lots of choices and they bring snacks to the table right away. Lots of seating choices and a private room as well. I like the variety on the menu - always something to choose from for different tastes. I think it is one of the better... More
