Our Favorite Restaurant in Golden

This place is hands down the best and most authentic Indian food restaurant I have ever been. It was a great date night location, service was great, and the food OUTSTANDING. I Highly recommend the sampler dinner for two. We took a lot home so it probably feeds closer to three.

This resturant purports to serve Himalayan, Sherpa, Tibetan, and Indian foods. Then why did the buffet taste like every Indian buffet I have ever eaten? There was a soup called Yak Stew, which was not especially tasty, but was spicy, and why was I surprised that the meat ( yak?) was tough and dry. It was not a bad lunch,... More

Their lunch buffet is really good. Now that is what I call fast food. Ask for the new back courtyard. Very pleasant with shade trees and water features.

This restaurant is close to a small art museum. I saw an Ansel Adams exhibit; then went next door for lunch buffet. The food was good; and, staff very helpful. There was a combination stew listed as hot---a very true statement.

We went for a late lunch and quickly sat down, got our drinks and hit the buffet. The freshness and flavor compared quite well with our favorite NYC Indian lunch spot. We unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to go for dinner, as we wanted to return.

We arrived for lunch and had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. The buffet was pretty big and had vegetarian options and naan that were all good and hot. We ordered samoasas which we really liked. Wish we could have ordered from the menu, but that is only allowed during dinner. The staff were all friendly and attentive.... More

Technically, they serve Himalayan food. Had the lunch buffet. Good choices. My wife ordered one of the noodle dishes off the menu. It was even better. Good choices of beer. We ate outside. Very nice atmosphere.

Awesome Nepaleze dining experience. The combination of Indian and Himalayan food offered and wide range of unique tastes including yak which was similar in flavor to beef. Highly recommend this to anyone who likes Indian Food and wants to try something different

We drove 25 miles to get to the Sherpa House and it was well worth it. Our party of four had various dinners ranging from Momos to Yak Daal Bhat and everything was wonderful. The flavors of Nepal are unlike those of India or Tibet, Nepali dishes have a spice combination that is smooth and soothing whether spicy hot or... More
