I love going here where you see locals go to dine. Parking is not easy on this street, but worth it once you get there. Good food, service and nice setting in a row of fine dining in town.

On Tuesday (Nov. 4- 2014) we were trying to decide where to go for my birthday dinner, so I got on the computer and was reading reviews on places in the roaring fork valley, after reading hundreds of reviews on different places,My wife said is there anywhere in Glenwood that sounds good? I said well if were are going to... More

We went there on a Saturday night, found it was way, way overpriced for "meh" food. The prime rib and sides were cool to the touch, soft and squishy vegetables. The chef salads were small and the price way too much for what you get. The paella - never had anything like this before, the meat was tough, rice overcooked,... More

New ownership, new menu, new decor and a new direction for a Glenwood landmark. "Energized elegance" is what I'd call it. Chef Mitch Levy has imported many of his Cuvee hits (hooray!) and has given the tired old Riv a hit with the defibrillator paddles. We started with wine flights--a very fun way to compare a few different wines. Moved... More

Just read the title of this post. That says it all. I had the Riviera salad and salmon sandwich. OMG -- best ever. Oh - and ask the wait staff to bring you some of their special red salsa. You'll consider threatening violence if the chef doesn't give you the recipe.

We ate there on a busy Saturday night. The starter salads were both exemplary, and the "club" size was certainly sufficient for us, and very good value. I had the lamb chops main which came with a spinach risotto. The lamb was fine but the risotto was completely inedible. It was much too dry and full of starch. I would... More

We had not eaten here for a couple of years due to a change in ownership and menu disappointment. Had dinner there last night, all 3 dinners were excellent and good service. We can strongly recommend them again.

No complaints about the food or service, just a bit on the pricey side for what it was...club size is on the small side, regular size ok but somewhat expensive.

Went here expecting to not spend a fortune, the food was good but I think is a little over priced. Server was very nice just think there is other options that might cost a little less in the area but if that isn't a worry, it's an alright place.

We had a fine meal here two years ago and came back for dinner on a Tuesday evening. We heard that it is now under new management since our last visit. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. A few of the items were good, including a martini and the mushroom soup. But the asparagus soup was inedible; we sent... More
