This is a popular breakfast spot for tourists and locals in Glenwood Springs. As I have recently written, there are not enough reliable breakfast spots in the area. I have eaten here aver 6 times in the last year and each time I leave I wonder why I ever return. We had to wait to be seated in an almost... More

This restaurant had us at hello. No, seriously, we went twice on a two night vacation! The staff was very accommodating, especially to our three children. When you walk in, they have home-made pastries in their case and they offer home-made granola which is unbelievable. The combo of the tart yogurt they serve and the cinnamon/earthiness of the granola is... More

We come here every time we visit Glenwood Springs. The restaurant is small and clean. The place is busy and the food is always good. Highly recommended!

Based on the TripAdvisor reviews, was expecting a better experience. Had the bacon waffle and French toast, both of which were expensive and disappointing. Expecting a thick Belgian waffle ("Bavarian", right?) and instead got a skinny Denny's style with two strips of bacon piled into the center of the waffle iron instead of spread around - so no bacon with... If I went back, I'd order pastry -- perhaps this is more their specialty. The more standard breakfast fare we ordered matched quality you'd find at Village Inn, just a lot pricier. I didn't finish my toast or Canadian bacon -- too ordinary to be worth the calories. They did cook my eggs "basted easy," exactly as I ordered them.

We stopped here at the recommendation of our hotel down the street (Starlight Lodge, see separate review). Unfortunately we did not have time to have breakfast here, I really wanted to try the famed Egg's Benedict. The restaurant is small, homey feeling, reminds me of our Norwegian style restaurants at home. The bakery case choices were much more limited than... More

I am German and the schnitzels and crepes were fantastic. Homemade! Breakfast, and lunch is all they serve. Their desserts are to die for! This is definitely a certain stop for anyone coming to Glenwood Springs! Your mouth will thank you!!!

This place has been here forever. They had expanded and we sat in the new space which was bright and airy. Service as very good. Coffee was very good. My husband had an omelet that was perfect. I had a biscuit and gravy with a side of sausage. The gravy was delicious, although the biscuit was just a bit over-browned.... More

Now we have a favorite place to eat breakfast in Glenwood. We had waffles, crab eggs benedict. Friends recommended this little restaurant and we were thrilled with the food.

Food was homemade fresh and served hot. I loved this Bavarian food as it reminded me of places I've been in Germany. Service was really friendly too.
