Polanka is a Polish restaurant run by an "Old Country" grandmother and her modern day American grandson. It's not much to see once you arrive; but, if you're a fan of pierogies, potato pancakes and kielbasa you'll love this restaurant. The portions are huge, the prices are right and the food is outstanding.

We stopped for lunch and absolutely loved it. The Pierogies are the best I've ever had. My wife had one of the platters with sausage, kraut, and pierogies, and loved all of it. The people who work here (and seem to own the place) are incredibly nice. We got a dozen pierogies to go, we loved them so much.

What a treat. My grandmother was Polish so I've attempted to find something as good for years without luck. However this is the first restaurant that was successful. Great food in an informal atmosphere. You won't go hungry. Try the combination plate and enjoy real old style home cooking!

The food here is delicious. Not fancy, just really good. My husband and I shared a combo plate so we could try a few things. (he went back for seconds of the cabbage rolls, sauerkraut and kielbasa). He has not stopped talking about the homemade sauerkraut. It was delicious. My first perogis, they were delish !! Stop by and enjoy... More

If you want really good homecooked food this is the place to go. Just don't be in a hurry. It is a small restaranut with a family atmosphere. My husband and I shared the combo plate and it was just right for the two of us. Everything tasted freshly made and very authentic.

This Polish restaurant has the most delicious food ever. It is hard to find but well worth the trouble. I will admit, the atmosphere is lacking. We ordered at the counter, picked the food up at the counter and then had to get in line (food ordering line) again after we were done eating to pay. All that said, we... More

If you happen to be in Glenwood Springs or passing by do yourself a favor stop at Polanka for a meal. It isn’t fancy but oh my it is good. You won’t find any better Gołąbki (stuffed cabbage) anywhere. Pierogis were very good Yum! I love German, Polish Eastern European foods. If I lived locally I’d be a regular.

If you're into traditional Polish food, this is the place to go. No frills, place your order at the counter & Mama will call you up when it's ready. Go there hungry because you get a full plate

If you like Eastern European food (Polish, Ukranian, Russian) you will like this place. We had the combo platter which includes stuffed cabbage, pierogis, kielbasa and sauerkraut. We also had a small bowl of Borscht. Everthing was very good ! This place is VERY informal so don’t expect much. There is no liquor license, they close at 8pm, there are... More
