What a find! Delicious home cooked German food. It's like sitting in your Grandma's kitchen. Inexpensive and delicious. I will go every time I'm in Glenwood Springs! Love the combination with sausage, home made sauerkraut, pierogies, and cabbage roll. The potato pancakes and homemade applesauce is yummy too!

Traditional, filling, inexpensive, and delicious. Our family stopped here for lunch after reading other reviews and we were not disappointed. We shared one combination plate and one order of potato pancakes for four people and no one was hungry. The cabbage roll was very good and so was the sauerkraut and kielbasa, but the pierogies were our favorite. The potato... More

A family-run restaurant with very traditional food, with a very cheap price. Every entry is below 10$ and basically enough to most people. Food is not very delicacy, but still delicious. As a restaurant in such a small town, I would say it is the best in the area.

Excellent home made eastern european food!!! The combination plate was incredible. The pork sandwich incredible. Potato pancakes, pierogies are a must try. The crepes were very good too!. We were in Glenwood for 7 days and ate here 3 different times. I wish I lived in Glenwood Springs just to eat here twice a week!!!!!!

We've been meaning to eat here and are kicking ourselves that we hadn't gone earlier. The stuffed cabbage and sour kraut tasted as good as my 92 year old German Mutti cooks on Thanksgiving. The potato pancakes were freshly prepared (we could hear the potatoes being grated in the kitchen) and the borscht was incredible. We can't eat like this... More

On a prior visit to Glenwood Springs, CO, my wife and I wanted to try this restaurant, but being a Sunday, the restaurant was not open. On this trip, we timed our visit so that we could try Polanka, and we were not disappointed. The Soup of the Day during our visit was Polish Dill Pickle. We each had a... More

Looking for frills, don't bother with Polanka's Polish Restaurant. But if you want excellent food, good service, all at a reasonable price, this is the place. Food is terrific and authentic Polish. Simple, but tasty. Much, much better than we expected.

Delicious, freshly prepared food. At our last visit at least, there is no liquor, but simply go next door to the liquor store and bring your bottle in. Everything on the menu is amazing, and the portions are of good size.
