Don't let the plain looking building discourage you from giving this place a try. The food is made to order, authentic, and wonderful. I had the combo plate so I could try several things - they were all good. My husband had the chicken, noodles, and broccoli - he liked everything too.

We went for dinner while on a Glenwood getaway. Hubby and I got a beer next door to bring in and had water too. I got the best beet soup I have ever had! We split the dinner plate of sausage, sauerkraut, potato Pierogies and cabbage roll. We ate every bit- large plate but since we shared, I wanted more!... More

This little place is nothing to look at, with plain tables and almost no decorations on the walls or tables. You order your food a t the counter and pick up your plate when it is ready. When done, return the plates and silverware in a different spot. When I asked for beer, I was sent next door to the... More

My son works in Glenwood Springs as a river guide on the Colarado River, weekly he visits Polankas. He raves about their home cooking and has brought portions home to share with the entire family. As a Mother, the Polanka hits home with good food.

Outstanding food! They did not disappoint. The potato pancakes were light and full of flavor. The sampler platter was soooo tasty I wish I could have eaten a second platter. Even the sauerkraut was full of flavor. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal.

Stopped in to give a try after seeing on trip advisor. Not an extensive menu so we tried several dishes and everyone tried a little of everything. Very authentic and good tasting Polish food.

We ate here and it was first time to eat Polish food. It was really great. She explained the foods to us and even my teen son loved what he had. Good portions and good prices.

This is truly a hidden gem! The food is awesome! We had the pickle soup which the owner (who is from Poland!) made from scratch as with all the food. It was delicious! It's like chicken and rice soup with a twist! Even if you don't like Pickles you will love this! Very authentic! We also had the cabbage rolls... More

We've been twice now, and 4/5 of my family thinks that Polanka is at least as big a draw as the famed Hot Springs themselves. (The 5th is a 10 year old picky eater... so he doesn't count.) We've tried nearly everything on the menu, and while the stuffed cabbages aren't as good as my grandama's, they're darn close. The... More
