Do you love Potato Pierogis? If not, you will.

This is a no frills restaurant with great food. When you get tired of paying too much for food in Aspen and the area, go to Polanka. The stuffed cabbage is fantastic. There was a little bit of a wait, but well worth it. Did I mention the Pierogis!

The food here is prepared by the owner and is truly home made Polish. From the pierogies to stuffed cabbage, sausage and sauerkraut, it was all very good. I noticed one of the local patrons eating some Borscht, which was not on the menu. I asked the owner about it and she said she always has some. She then fixed... More

Polanka is an order-at-the counter type restaurant with about 6 tables. Tell them what you want and they will get to cooking it. You can pick it up in about 10 minutes. Buss your own table. Polish food (10 different ways to cook potatoes) is starchy but varied. I recommend you get the combination dinner plate because it lets you... More

This was a highlight of my visit to Glenwood Springs! The place does not look like much. There was utter chaos behind the counter and in the kitchen. None of that matters, because the food was incomparable! I had a sampler platter, and each item was better than the previous one! You'd think "sausage is just sausage." **NO!** Polanka's sausage... Had lunch there today, you don't come for the decor or atmosphere but you should certainly come for the food! Had the "Combo Plate" which had Kielbasa, Kraut, 6 Potato & Cheese Pirogi and a Golumpki (cabbage roll). Everything was excellent with a LOT of flavors! The lady that owns Polanka is straight from the old country! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for... More

If you love good hearty polish food this place is worth it. From the stuffed cabbage, pierogis, and the cheese blintzes the food is fantastic. This was probably our cheapest meal the entire time we were at Glenwood springs. It was a short walk across the (harrowing walk - really watch yourself while crossing the street) street from our hotel.... More

When you first walk up to Polanka, you might not understand how they are rated so high on here. It's next to a pot shop...on a very crowded, hard to access corner. It's very basic with no ambiance. It's small. There are only five tables. BUT THE FOOD IS SO GOOD!!!!! This is legit grandma-style home cookin'. We went in... More

Wow, the food was almost better than my Babci used to make. Authentic and served with a smile. The sour kraut was my favorite. Try everything....I did. I waddled back to my hotel with a big smile. The legal weed shop next door had nothing to do with my appetite. Don't be fooled by the simple, understated, "dining room". Sure,... More

Awesome! By far one of the best meals I have ever had! The combo features the best Eastern European dishes on one plate, (Kielbasa, sauerkraut, pirogies, and a cabbage roll), was very reasonably priced ($12), and filled me up...each bite got a verbal "mmmmmmm!" from both of us...this is homemade food at it's very best! Not fancy, and you get... More
