We have gone to Glenwood Springs many times over the years. For at least ten years Rivers has been the only restaurant we have dinner at. We like to sit on their deck above the river and across from a steep canyon view. The food is always excellent, as is the service. Last week, we ate there on a Friday... More

This place used to be one of the highlights of our trip. We even recommended it to some fellow hotel guests. I'm embarrassed. The prime rib was like gnawing a rubber shoe. Innatentive and misinformed servers. It was horribly dirty. The womens bathroom looked like a trash pit.....sadly...we will never be back. I gave it two stars for the ambiance... More

The atmosphere is terrific and you can eat on the deck overlooking the Frying Pan River. The trout was delicious and the restaurant gave us a free anniversary dessert.

The board out front in the lobby list specials for 15.99 and the most expensive item on the menu is $22.00 so when our waitress ask us if we wanted a special we said OK and didn't ask the price. BIG MISTAKE. We had halibut, 1/3 cup of rice and maybe that many veggies. When we got our bill each... More

The patio here is amazing and the view spectacular. However the service is not the best and the good is over priced. If you do go for a drink on the deck and get hungry, the Greek pizza is cheap and actually pretty yummy.

Their patio needs some updating, its getting run down. Additionally the bugs got so bad that we had to move inside. Our entrees were average at best, my said her prime rib dinner was tough and she didn't enjoy it.

The view on the deck is wonderful, with the river running below. But the food is only mediocre. Having eaten there several times, I do not go for the food. The wine is only fair, with offerings from $5 to $6.75 per glass in the reds. The night before, I had a $9 wine that was so good. But they... More

Overall the experience was great. The food tasted amazing. The atmosphere on the deck was great. We had good service as well. My only complaint was that they charged extra for the salad. One of the best steaks I have eaten. Dessert was also really good.

We had a group of 15 people and we had a wonderful experience. We sat outside on the patio by the river. It got a little chilly at night, but I brought a light sweater and I was fine. The staff was friendly and prompt and the food was absolutely delicious. I definitely will return when I'm back in the... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our white water rafting guide who said they have great dollar tacos on Wednesdays. The waitress was barely friendly & wasn't too pleased that we would be ordering the tacos. I feel she was hoping to get a bigger ticket & bigger tip from us. We also ordered two appetizers, two kids' meals,... More
