Terrific "Home Cooked" Breakfast!

It is my policy that if you run across little house that has been transformed into a restaurant, you should eat there. This was no exception. After taking the fun little Georgetown loop train ride, we stopped in here for some lunch. Because they serve breakfast all day, most of us got breakfast and... read more

My wife and I had lunch here while shopping in Historic Downtown Georgetown at the suggestion of a local shop owners. It is a great location in the heart of downtown in a converted turn of the century house. We were seated at a cozy table for two in a quiet corner of the restaurant, even though it would have... We stopped for a quick lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the ambience of this little eatery. I had the hot chicken and vegetable pita which was delicious. I think the pita was home made as it was delightfully warm and fluffy. My hubby had the croissant with chicken, bacon and Gouda. Also delicious.

The service was excellent. One person taking handling all the tables. We got waffles, eggs, and french toast. Large portions and great flavor. The best store bought french toast.

Well worth the stop for breakfast. The food and service were great. We highly recommend this restaurant. The perfect stop before or after a day of skiing.

We've eaten at The Happy Cooker quite a few times, both for breakfast and for lunch. The food is tasty and filling, with a widely varied menu for both meals. The service can be spotty, with the server forgetting to bring us requested water and delivering the wrong lunch entree to one of us.

My family of 5 went for breakfast 4 days in a row so needless to say, we tried nearly everything at least once. Waffles, burritos, cinnamon roll, bagel, Eggs Benedict, granola, fruit, meat. It was all good. If you bring your receipt back the next day, you get a discount. Staff was super friendly. We're going to miss all that... More

I have only ever had breakfast there but it is really good. The service can get a little slow when they are busy. Worth the wait.

Went to the Georgetown Christmas festival 5th of December. The place was packed and had a long wait, but their homemade beef stew in a sourdough bread bowl was nothing short of exceptional. Staff had a great attitude, even when being slammed with the number of customers.
