Great food and exceptional service. Waitress was very friendly and able to handle many orders at one time.

Drive past the joints just off the highway and go into old town Georgetown to find the Happy Cooker. It seems to be a popular local eating establishment and I can see why. Great food at a really good price along with a real nice setting. It is worth the few block drive into town from I-70. My wife and... More

On Sunday afternoon about 2pm, my wife and I had a great afternoon lunch served by a speedy, smiley, and polite wait back. We thought service might be bit slow since she seemed to be the only waitress there. Service was great and so was the food. Small town atmosphere with down home cooking. Loved it and will be back.

We have eaten here many times and I feel the quality is not always as great as it used to be. I would recommend the nuts and berries salad and the soups - as well as the delicious bread. I also like the vegetarian burrito. Sitting outside on a warm day is always a delight, particularly if you have a... More

Very tasty, filling food. Great breakfast. Order the breakfast burrito and coffee-vail roasters. Friendly good service. Would like pancakes on the menu .

Great food, very creative. If it's pleasant weather, sit outside for the view. Service was good but not speedy (the place was packed, even during a weekday lunch hour in September. If the cooker is happy, the eaters are even happier. Charming!

Excellent food - great menu choices - serves breakfast all day but we had the lunch special of the day with vegetable quiche and baked potato bacon soup with our choice of a side - yummy - all for $8.95 - what a deal.

I'm not sure how this location rated any award from Trip Advisor. They are a typical restaurant in a small tourist town...knowing that even with average food, they will stay busy simply based on location. The hostess was impersonal. The menu had some out of the box type items that you would expect to be really good to be listed....i.e.... More

Hello and thank you for your review. I am so very sorry that you did not enjoy your food thoroughly. I am especially sorry that you did not enjoy your beef stew special, which is one of our most popular when we run it. Indeed we do have some "out of the box" items, as we unfortunately do not have... We stopped in for a late lunch (1:30 ish) on a busy Sunday after enjoying the fall foliage. We were told that it would be a 45 min wait for our party of 5, but were pleasantly surprised when it was only about 15 min. However, the service once seated, was extremely slow and the restaurant was not that busy.... More

We went in for lunch around 1:45pm on a Sunday afternoon. We had to wait about 5-10 min for a table which was reasonable. It too for ever for the food to show up. The table next to us received their order before we did and they were seated after us. The waitress did not check on us very often... More

Hi there and thank you very much for your review. I am very sorry that your service was not as swift as you would have loved to have made your meal perfect. Last Sunday was a record breaking day for us for the year. The town was literally packed with folks who came to see the leaves in all their... More
