AWESOME BREAKFAST!

We stumbled upon this place on our way to Loveland resort, and had one of the best breakfasts we've had in awhile. Great portions, price, atmosphere, service, etc. If this place was in my neighborhood I'd be a regular. Thanks for the fuel for a great day on the slopes over at Loveland!

So glad we found this stop on Trip Advisor. The perfect spot for breakfast or lunch on our way to the slopes. Seemed like a favorite by locals!

Stopped in on the way to a ski trip in Vail. What a pleasant surprise! They bake fresh bread which is absolutely the greatest. Vegetarian options are delicious and service friendly.

We love to eat either breakfast or lunch here whenever we visit Georgetown. Weather permitting, one of the best features is the large front patio area for outdoor dining.

Visited for an early lunch after riding the Georgetown Train. Our party are both lunch and breakfast. Highly recommend the barn house Waffle special (cheese and bacon in the waffle - yum). Also, my wife had the chicken chowder soup and it was great as well. They accommodated the 3 small children in our party as well. Highly recommend if... More

We have been going to the Happy Cooker for years, but I cannot imagine the last time the place got a thorough cleaning. We were there Saturday 12-20. The place was filthy. I truly hope the kitchen is in far better shape than the public area. The front door was missing the door knob, the carpet was ick and the... More

Thank you very much for your review Ron H. We are very sad to read that you did not enjoy your visit with us and that you did not feel the atmosphere was adequate. We do the best we can to keep up with maintenance on a monthly basis, but sometimes details slip past us. We close normally for a... More

Great food and exceptional service. Waitress was very friendly and able to handle many orders at one time.

Drive past the joints just off the highway and go into old town Georgetown to find the Happy Cooker. It seems to be a popular local eating establishment and I can see why. Great food at a really good price along with a real nice setting. It is worth the few block drive into town from I-70. My wife and... More

On Sunday afternoon about 2pm, my wife and I had a great afternoon lunch served by a speedy, smiley, and polite wait back. We thought service might be bit slow since she seemed to be the only waitress there. Service was great and so was the food. Small town atmosphere with down home cooking. Loved it and will be back.

We have eaten here many times and I feel the quality is not always as great as it used to be. I would recommend the nuts and berries salad and the soups - as well as the delicious bread. I also like the vegetarian burrito. Sitting outside on a warm day is always a delight, particularly if you have a... More
