We went Saturday Oct 18th. I rarely write a bad review but feel I must. I have no complaints against the restaurant. The main course was very good. The waiter ruined the experience for us. Going there was a belated birthday present from my friend. We had to ask for bread, which we finally received two pieces when meal was almost... More

My friend took me Saturday night for a belated birthday. He has been going for years. We were the second couple in the dining room. Placed order, received drinks. Food came in good time. Dining room filled up. No bread. We asked for bread. Finally received two pieces for our table when we were almost finished with meal. Never had... More

We were in Frisco for 8 nights - this was the best dinner we had out. Food - 5*, Service - 5*, Value - 5*, Ambiance - 3.5*. We walked in on a Wednesday evening at "prime time" - 8 PM. Were seated in the main dining room near a large window by very friendly hostess. James was our server... More

We ate out a number of times during our recent visit to Frisco and the Blue Spruce was definitely the best in all aspects. The food, the atmosphere, the service, were all top notch! Our waiter, James, was also very entertaining!

This restaurant was originally an old Inn and you can feel time roll back. Squeeky floors and old timbers add to the ambience of the meal. The staff is very attentive and friendly and the food is very good. Great variety from elk to pasta, to steak and even maui maui. There is a huge bar room in the back... More

If you see my previous review in October 2013 you know I really wanted this restaurant to be what we remembered from 18 years ago when we first bought our condo here. I'm talking about the log cabin decor main dining room not the bar (which is horrible.) Things were going fine until our server--friendly, chatty Jamie --lost it because... More

We treated some local friends to dinner and we all enjoyed our meals. I would go back for the lamb entree and the scallop appetizer - both absolutely fantastic. The elk medallions were a little tough and bland. Our friends enjoyed their dishes, but I didn't sample them so I can't justify a review. Our service was excellent, and the... More

We go here for the ambiance in the restaurant and the happy hour in the bar. Like to go to the restaurant and enjoy a couple of premium appetizers that are not offered in the bar.

Husband and I were first time visitors in Frisco CO. As we were walking down the beautiful rustic downtown area, we stumbled across this restaurant, although it wasn't opened yet. The outside is rustic looking which appealed to my husband immediately. We spoke to some local folks of Frisco and were assured that we'd have a great dinner experience, so... More
