A favourite we always go back to

The Blue Spruce is somewhere we go to almost as soon as we arrive in Frisco. We've eaten many times in both the bar and the restaurant and have never been badly let down. The restaurant décor is rather dated (some might say quaint) and would benefit from some refurbishment. The restaurant... read more

There was four of us and we were seated by the fire place on a low table. It was very warm and cozy there. The food was very good. The wood in the bar is beautiful. Just take a look at the bar when you visit. Please order the mocha pie and the brownie sundae for dessert. Best chocolatey, moist... More

I have eaten at this restaurant since 1987 and have never been disappointed. Had the steak diane last night and it was wonderful. A must visit restaurant when in the Summit County Colorado area

My husband and I loved our dinner at this cozy restaurant. The interior log cabin, fire place and excellent wine list added to a wonderful evening. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was all we were hoping for and more! Don't miss the creme brulee!

We arrived early and the front of house said wait in the bar. (This becomes useful later...) No issues as we were early. The Inn is essentially two restaurants in one. One is a bar with food and the other is a fine dining restaurant, each with its own menu. Once seated, the service was attentive all evening. On reading... More

I came in tonight for a quick snack and couple of drinks. I am local and have come in for years with family and friends. I saw they had a sign that said EVERY drink 50% off and EVERY was underlined. The happy hour menu is basically all greasy breaded fried stuff. So I ordered my usual, well vodka on... More

All but one in our party are vegan. Two of us decided to just get side orders of mashed potatos and green beans which seemed to totally confuse our waiter. In fact he literally put his hand up to his head as if confused by almost everything we ordered. We explained that we were vegan and just wanted vegetables so... More

We had dinner at the Blue Spruce Inn on Thursday, January 29th. I cut a piece of meat that was too big for me and could not breath. One of the waiters was an EMT and realized what was happening. He quickly gave me (I think two) pounds on the back and saved my life! Thanks so much for the... More

The antique bar is a classic , and drew us to give it a try for happy hour. No real specials on drinks, and fried stuff for appetizers. With limited choices , we decided to stay for one drink and ordered the " homemade " bucket of chips... Cold and crappy.. Won't be back .. Ever

Really a steak place with dinners served like forty years ago. Charming log cabin interior with white lace curtains and great gas fireplace that gave off a lot of heat.. The waiter was attentive and talkative. Popular with locals and visitors.
