Restaurant is warm and inviting. Immediately met by hostess and sat.. followed by a quick waitress welcome. Our party has the pecan trout (which was declared the best he has had), Joel's bowl which was a tasty stir fry and the seasonal salad which was huge. All the portions were large. The group also had drinks to start the evening,... More

My husband and I went to Silverheels on a Sunday night not expecting much and were surprised how good the food is at this restaurant. First we were warmly welcomed by Chris the owner, who is quite personable and enthusiastic about the restaurant. Our waiter was Anthony, another affable person. After ordering, Anthony brought warm house-made corn muffins, country French... More

I have been here a couple times before and enjoyed the food and wait staff. Tonight was horrible. The hostess was no where to be found. People finally started walking back into the dining room to seat themselves. She finally shows up and is rude. I left. So disappointing. I really wanted their trout. Dont know if I'll come back.

Thanks to a review by Songstad, we decided to try this restaurant while staying in Breckenridge. We can't wait to return and eat here again! We both ordered the "Trout Almondine - Almond Encrusted, Sauteed Golden Brown & Finished with a Saffron Agave Beurre Blanc." My husband is an avid fisherman and is very particular about fish in a restaurant... More

Taking a mini-vaca in Frisco, walking Main Street and stopped by this restaurant and bar. First, service was excellent. Seated quickly and before I knew it I had an excellent glass of wine sitting in front of me from a short, but excellent selection. Ordered the pecan encrusted trout, after all, when in Colorado high country... It was very fresh... More

Dropped in without reservation. Very friendly welcome from superb bartender. He then looked after us well. Great local feel with people just dropping in for a drink. Rack of ribs was excellent. Meaty, tangy and full of flavour with home made coleslaw which was a sharp tangy counterpoint to ribs. Will go back.

It has been some time since we had eaten here. We felt we were due. It didn't disappoint. All 3 of us had seafood (trout, salmon and tuna ahi(evening special). Sides inc with mealz were sugar snap peas, flavored rice, spaghetti squash. All meals were outstanding. One of our party never finishes her meal. She cleaned her plate! Wine was... More

A nicely appointed Southwest influenced restaurant. They offer classic Colorado dishes like Rocky Mountain trout, steaks, chicken and salads. I had the trout almondine, which was excellent. My friend had the nightly special, a Cajun haddock fish. A good wine list. The prices were reasonable for a restaurant near the ski resorts. They have a sister sushi restaurant next door... More

I- 70 was closed and we decided to find a place to eat dinner rather than sit on a highway for three hours. We just stumbled into Silverthorns.. It looks like a bar from the outside but there is a nice, big, dining room in back. Our dinners of various top shelf things on the menu were all great. The... More
