The Butterhorn Bakery & Cafe has been in business for about 40 years. It is the local's and tourist's favorite spot for breakfast and lunch. Every recipe is handcrafted from scratch in our kitchen and we bake everything fresh daily in our bakery. We also offer cappuccino, vanilla skinny lattes, homemade bloody marys and bubbly mimosas! We have been VOTED #1 by Trip advisor, Yelp and Urbanspoon for 4 years in a row, due to our friendly service, efficient kitchen, reasonable prices and most importantly, great food! ALWAYS GOOD

This little breakfast and lunch restaurant knows how to do it right! At 7:30 doors open with a waiting crowd and the staff, and kitchen are set to go. Delicious frittatas, hot coffee and great service are a winning combination to start the ski day

We visit Summit County at least once a year to ski and meet up with friends. This is one of our must go places. We will even opt for a late start to skiing just to sit and enjoy their whole wheat banana pancakes. The staff is always friendly and the wait is totally worth it. I almost hate to... More

Their version of Eggs Benedict was so good. We so enjoyed our Saturday morning breakfast. Everything we had was wonderful and everything we saw on other's plates looked amazing too.

Went at 10am Monday Feb. 16. The wait was only ten minutes. We had a party of six and decided to break up the group into a 4 top and 2 top to expedite the seating process. We stuck the grand kids with the old folks, ha!!. Did you know Butterhorn is another name for Croissant? This and the fact... More

Visited the Butterhorn Bakery twice over President's Day weekend. The food was good with a variety of choices. Would definitely go back for the food but the service was another story. You are pushed to finish and leave due to the high volume of customers. We had the same waitress both days and while she wasn't outright rude she did... More

We had lunch at the Butterhorn with friends who are frequent visitors. They advised us, thank heavens, that the 1/2 sandwich was perfect. We each had 1/2 a sandwich and soup. The service was great and the food was creative and DELICIOUS!
