the place was crowded at 1 p.m. & had to wait for a table, that tells you that the food is good. The service was excellent.

We visited here after good reviews but found it below par! Service was professional but not warm. Food was quick but the two different salads we both had looked very "engineered" not presented well. But taste was good and environment was good as we sat outside on a nice day. The bakery side was very limited for having that in... More

Perfect place for breakfast! Everything was very fresh. I had the whole wheat pancakes and ordered the fruit plate with strawberries, tiny blueberries and bananas. Delicious! I would eat here every time I came to town!

I've been stopping in for over 30 years; it is always good! They have great breakfasts and lunches with a variety of dishes. The bakery products are delicious and they also have ice cream. It is the place to go on Main Street for breakfast or lunch. Try their cinnamon bread! Usually busy at meal times, it is better to... More

We stopped in at Butterhorn Bakery after biking down the Vail Pass. It was a Sunday morning and they were fairly busy with a brunch crowd. We just wanted a little treat and ordered some cookies and banana bread to go. The kids loved their huge cookies and the banana bread was moist and delicious. A perfect spot for a... More

I've been going here for many years (since the Claimjumper closed). It is wonderful every time. The baked good are all superb. The biscuits and gravy is great. In mud season (October and April (appox) ) ,when the menu is all half price, I have ordered the menu from top to bottom in the course of a month and never... More

Had a whole wheat pancake and paid extra for the mixed fruit (slightly over $3.00) and it was worth it. Receive quite a bit of blueberries, strawberries, and bananas and also comes with walnuts although I chose not to get those. They put it on top of the pancake for me and it was great. I had a coupon I... More

When we're in the high country - we love stopping by for breakfast or brunch at Butterhorn. Fantastic pancakes and fresh fruit are a favorite of mine - and you can always pick up a tasty fresh baked good for the road, like an awesome gingersnap. Yum!

It seems like no matter where we were in/around Summit County, whenever we would search TripAdvisor, Yelp, etc. we would find that Butterhorn Bakery would show up as the top option in the area. So, since we were within 5 miles we decided to give it a try. Turns out, the other raters are correct. We both opted for the... More

While traveling we rarely eat at the same restaurant two days in a row, but the Butterhorn hooked us and we returned the next morning as well for brunch. Not cheap, but worth the short wait and high sticker price. Enough food that my wife and I could have shared one big breakfast. This is a must stop place if... More
