Best Cajun cuisine.

This is my second time at a Lost Cajun location. This is the best Cajun outside Louisiana. Service and atmosphere was very nice. The food is the star. Red beans and rice delicious. Seafood gumbo yum! The beignets are fresh and soft and just melt in your mouth. If you love Cajun and are in... read more

From the outside, The Lost Cajun looks modest. Inside it looks like a LA fishing harbor lunch place--funky and casual. My wife and I have often ate at Cajun/Creole places in New Orleans and elsewhere. Here we found the service & food excellent. At the beginning, as you are looking at the fairly large menu, They bring you a sample... More

Were just passing through and looking for something quick and unique. Hit a homerun here with everything. Quick, hot, flavorful, unique, lots of choices. Wife had the chicken and sausage gumbo and I have a catfish po boy sandwich to die for. It is fast fresh and delicious.

The bad stuff first. This is more like a self serve fast type of place with waiters than a restaurant, which is slightly misleading. Also, the portions are on the small side. The good stuff. The food is really good, everything tastes authentic, just like in new Orleans. So, if you want a good fast eat, 5 stars. If I... More

This is not a fancy restaurant, but the food is so good, the service so good, we all agreed we had to give it 5 stars. Everything we ate was wonderful. My husband loved the oyster po-boy! And my picky son loved the chicken and sausage gumbo. The fried okra appetizer is also worth mentioning. Its a small restaurant but... More

This was our third visit to the Lost Cajun and we have made a visit here part of our family tradition when we visit Breck/Keystone. Colton was friendly and happily served up a huge basket of beixnets after asking if we could slide one seat down at the bar. The gumbo, jambalaya, ettoufe and cajun pasta are all delicious. Goes... We were walking through Frisco and saw "Cajun" decided to try it for lunch. Really great food & plenty of it. We're going back for dinner tonight - that's how much we liked it.

We are always prowling for unusual tastes that counter the bland, poorly-prepared stuff served in most restaurants; we also love an owner who cares. HERE IS THE SPOT. You go here for the gumbos and, I suppose, for the beignets, a deep-fried light version of a donut, only rectangular, not round. A most delicious light cole slaw comes with some... More
