Real Cajun food!

My husband and I stopped by for a quick bite while passing through. I love to cook authentic Cajun food and we have eaten a lot of it. This is the real deal!!! The seafood gumbo was to die for! If you are ever in the vicinity, don't miss it. The staff was extremely attentive and you could... read more

Low season in Breckenridge, Colorado does not mean poor eating if you drop by the Lost Cajun in Frisco! We found this delightful anomaly by accident and enjoyed our whole experience there. The place has four tables and a common eating bar (which leads to fun conversations with folks you never expected to meet over a meal) inside and a... More

We found this restaurant when we were staying in Frisco and looking for something reasonable and close. It was only 3 blocks from our hotel. When you walk in, you are immediately welcomed by the staff and although there are few tables, there is a long center bar with stools on both sides - perfect. I believe in warmer weather... More

It is our first time at the Lost Cajun and it's a cute little place. Our server brought us samples of soup, gumbo, red beans and jambalaya. Yum! Made it more difficult to choose. Husband and I had a gumbo and lobster bisque each then shared a to die for voodoo pasta! Had to end with beignets! How delightful to... More

Amazing what you find in a mountain community. The food is original and the staff have a good time and are friendly. I have tried several of the items on the menu and they were all good. Having traveled to New Orleans, one cannot tell a difference. A must try if you like Cajun.

Jenna warmly welcomed us and brought a sampler of five of the menu items before we ordered. All except the lobster bisque were tempting, but we had a hankering for the catfish platter, with fries and tasty coleslaw. A side of somewhat sweet hushpuppies hit the spot. We did not try the desserts. Low-volume Cajun music complemented the colorful, idiosyncratic... More

First time here, and LOVED that they give you samples to help you choose what to order. Had the red beans and rice and the Lobster Bisque. Was kind of a chili day, and this really hit the spot. Also comes with buttery garlic bread. Save room for the light fluffy, powder sugared desert - Beignets. Service was outstanding and... More

The food is subpar and over priced. It's the exact same Mixure that my hospital gets from Cisco. Bucket of condensed product, add water, and heat. Very pathetic. Hushpuppies over cooked and dark. Due to not changing oil appropriately. Food looked cajun but didnt taste cajun at all, no spice or heat. There were 3 people and we all got... More

This is my second time at a Lost Cajun location. This is the best Cajun outside Louisiana. Service and atmosphere was very nice. The food is the star. Red beans and rice delicious. Seafood gumbo yum! The beignets are fresh and soft and just melt in your mouth. If you love Cajun and are in the area its a must... More
