I like that they gave a sample of all their gumbos when you walk in. The sausage and chicken gumbo was very tasty. The portions are large so we were too full to try the beignets for dessert. The staff were really friendly. There are only a couple of tables so beware it might take awhile (they do take-out as... More

I recently moved to Colorado after living in Louisiana for over 10 years. This food is as good or better than anything in Louisiana. I love the sausage and chicken gumbo!!!

The food here has great flavors. I enjoyed the small tastings they gave you before ordering. I would definitely go back to this place. It only sits a few people so beware. Only draw back was the amount/size of the shrimp and sausage that were in the entrees.

We went on a recent trip, the owner was there & because the wait was so great he gave us free dessert. A real down to earth guy. I would most dif visit again if we went back. The seafood gumbo was to die for. Only down thing is the rest is small so is most of the establishments in... More

The food is really good so you have to try. But be aware of the prices. I know it's in Summit and it's expensive but I think they are way over priced. We used to go all the time for all you could eat cat fish night but they don't have that anymore. I do not like cat fish but... More

Great gumbo, y'all! Cute decor, like a real gumbo shack. Tiny place, only 4 tables and a standing area.

Had great gumbo - fired shrimp as good as you can get. Prompt service. What more is needed to be said?

This place is fantastic. It's tiny, seating is limited, and you will most likely have to wait. But Griff and his staff will get you in as soon as possible, and they will bring around delicious samples of all their main entrees to help you make up your mind. The fried okra is killer, the Cat-touffee delicious and the lobster... More
