Gumbo no Jumbo!

Delicious Gumbo but portions aren't that big. It was $13 for a 12 ounce bowl. One thing I really appreciated was the sampling flight they provided. You get to taste the different Gumbos, Lobster Bisque, Rice n Beans, and Étouffée and then decide what to order. If you come on the right day, you... read more

Hi there and thanks for writing us a review! If you are ever here and get to the bottom of your bold of gumbo and find you'd like some more just tell your server "lagniappe" which means "a little something extra for my friend" and we will refill your bowl at no charge! Great Cajun food: such as, fried catfish, red beans and rice, and boiled shrimp. Certainly not your typical summit county ski area place. Excellent Cajun food and sauces, nice wait staff. However, not very big, so consider going earlier or later than normal.

Funky spot with good vibe, friendly service from both kitchen and wait staff, and good Cajun food. Worth a stop if you're missing The Big Easy.

Everything about Frisco is perfect for the casual traveler who doesn't necessarily want to pay the Breckenridge prices. Places like Lost Cajun make it worth it. This little restaurant serves up hearty cajun food at decent prices, and the service is great. This feels like the kind of place you would find traveling along a road on the Gulf of... More

We stumbled on this place a few years ago. The best Cajun cuisine outside of New Orleans. Must have a beignet! We return often. Thanks Griff for sharing this place with the community.

Loved loved LOVED this place so much we went back the next day on our weekend at Breck. The food is absolutely second to none, and loved that they carried Abita beer. This is an absolute MUST if you are visiting Frisco/Breckenridge!

What a treat!! I love the little sampler they give you when you arrive. Great marketing tool. I had the shrimp, to die for. Lobster bisque, excellent. My husband loves their red beans and rice. Daughter enjoyed the jambalaya. Save room for the beignets. Just like Nola!!, owner was there the night we were eating, he is a fun and... More

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner here last night! First of all, the sampler tray is brilliant! It is a great opportunity to try the various gumbos for spiciness, while at the same time a chance to sample other things you were not able to order!! We both had the chicken sausage gumbo, which was superb! Also loved... More

Thanks for the review! Chicken and Sausage gumbo is my favorite way to warm up after a day on the slopes as well! We hope to see you on your next visit to summit county. More
