fine dining in Frisco--not to be missed

My husband and I have dined here twice and were impressed both times. The appetizers of calamari, and salad with beets, goat cheese, and pistachios; and main dishes of pasta with shrimp, and rabbit cacciatore were excellent. The wait staff is very pleasant. Try for a table in the front room, as... read more

My husband had the frutti di mare/linguini seafood. It was watery and tasteless, "insipid" I had airline chicken with gnocchi. My dish was good. Chicken and gnocchi tasty. Salads were fresh. They told us right up front service might be slow due to another party. Bread was good but we had to ask for it.

Pleasant atmosphere and good wait staff, but food was not up to par and too expensive for what you got.

I have been to Bagalis on many occasions over several years and have generally been pleased with the food and service. However, on Friday, July 3 I had a very different experience. A group went for happy hour which is really only a discount on a single red wine or a single white wine, plus some beer and cocktail specials.... More

We almost didn't go in because of the low-key appearance and decor but this place is a "keeper". But Laureen took good care of us for an early dinner, and it was good we stopped early as this place filled up with locals who know its attributes. Excellent arugula salads, succulent short ribs (very slow cooked, with jus), great wines... More

I went with a group of friends that like the happy hour. It is a limited menu and my wife and I were not impressed. My wife ordered the Caesar salad that was not close to a C.S. and was terrible. Both of us could not eat it and so we passed it to our friends. They ordered truffle fries,... More

Truly flavorful creations plus the upscale atmosphere plus the friendly staff plus the perfect location on Main St in Frisco plus the patio views for people watching with the Rockies for a backdrop equals EXCELLENCE!!! Do not miss this gem of a restaurant while in Summit County.

We entered the front entrance at about 5:30 PM and three servers were grouped together outside and not serving any patrons on the patio at that time. Sort of felt like a used car lot with the salepeople eyeballing the potential customers when they entered the showroom. The servers should be kept busy cleaning or serving the customers when the... This restaurant is in the heart of Frisco on Main Street. Everything they serve is freshly prepared, organic and hormone free. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is very friendly and the manager personally visits the tables to get to know his guests. We felt like family. Great experience
