Surprise! Good Himalayan food in Frisco!

The Chau Momo were excellent. Delicious, tender dumplings in a tangy spicy sauce. The Lamb Vindaloo sauce was very good. The lamb was a bit more like mutton, very chewy and a bit gamey. The Kabuli Naan was to die for. Cute & cozy restaurant that looked very clean.

We went 45 min before the end of their lunch service. The server said only the buffet was available but quite frankly they hadn't replenished most of the dishes. I won't go into details but it wasn't an enjoyable meal at all. There wasn't a lot of choice to start with and two of the dishes had no primary component... More

Indian cuisine is renowned for it's bold, spicy and exotic flavors so how in the world does Himalayan Cuisine Restaurant manage to make blah, tasteless and boring dishes? It's all swimming in the same insipid watery slop - inexcusable! Buy a recipe book, for heaven's sake! I've given them a couple of chances to redeem themselves but it only gets... More

This is a must stop every time I'm in or near Frisco. I've been making my way through the menu and have yet to be disappointed.

The title says it all. I will say that when the Himalayan opened some years ago it actually wasn't that bad. It has however gone completely and utterly down the pan. I will also say that I have eaten more curries than I can remember. I grew up in the borough of Gravesham in England which happens to have a... More

Absolutely awful. By far the worst Indian food I have tasted since moving to Colorado. I got the lamb masala and it tastes stale, like old lamb in a watered down tomato sauce. I requested hot but there is barely a trace of spice to be found. The only thing that tastes passable is the naan, although most of it... More

We just ordered bread to go, but the menu looked wonderful. Good soup and sandwich spot, with what appeared to be lots of locals enjoying their lunch.

There are mixed reviews of this place but I wanted to try it anyway. There is a great patio. The service was good, not slow at all, friendly, informative. The food was super fresh and the only thing I would do differently is when the waiter asked about the spice level from one to ten I went for ten because... More

Decided to try some Indian food in Frisco and landed here. The place was empty... Out of several beers on the menu. Service was decent and the food fair but not very flavorful. The restaurant wasn't very clean either. Can't say I will go back.
