Good Nepali/Indian Food

This restaurant is run by a Nepali immigrant--apparently Frisco has a small Nepali community (guess they miss the Himalayas). Anyway, by 6:30, it was full, including one table of 10+ travelers who had been in an I-70 car pile-up after an unchained tractor-trailer jack-knifed, closing the... read more

This is a really good Nepali Restaurant in Summit County and I can highly recommend it. The atmosphere is nice and the food is good. They have good Asian beers too.

Our group ended up in Frisco after a semi-trailer jackknifed on the I-70. After driving down Main St we all agreed on Himalayan Cuisine for dinner. The service was pretty slow, but it was expected when you had one cook and one server. The naan was great! However, our curry was missing that extra kick. Others in our group enjoyed... More

Anyway, by 6:30, it was full, including one table of 10+ travelers who had been in an I-70 car pile-up after an unchained tractor-trailer jack-knifed, closing the interstate for 12 hours. We had a lunch buffet in this restaurant. Their selection is very limited, everything tasts the same. Tables are dirty and the staff are not friendly. Only good thing is the price, it costs less than 10 dollars all you can eat. It could work if you are hungry, but if you really like indian cuisine, this restaurant will disappoint... More

Awesome super fresh and tasty Indian Food. The all you can eat lunch special is very good. 5 or 6 main dishes that are all varied with super fresh ingredients. Owners are very nice. If you want authentic...this is the place to go.

Me and my family we came for dinner on my wife's birthday. We were worried about the spicies, a lady working took good care of us. Suddenly chef appeared n asked us our taste n promised to make it according to our desire. He nailed it. At last we ordered for tea n it was amazing, we never tried it... More

We came in for lunch after a morning of adventuring in the area. Of our group of 6, only 2 of us had ever eaten Nepalese food. The lunch buffet was $8.99 for each adult, which was very reasonable for the area. The chef/owner came out and served us. He checked on us repeatedly and at one point I asked... More

My wife and I arrived close to closing time and we were able to get the owner to keep the kitchen open. We were well taken care off. The owner waited on us and he tailored our food order to our taste - extra spicy. He also made us a very large and tasty salad. We strongly would recommend this... More
