It was early in the evening and we just wanted to try the beer. They had a Elk Brat on the lunch menu that we decided to split between us. We didn't know which beer we wanted, the waitress was very accomodating and brought us tasters. I wanted to try their very popular chili beer, but I didn't care for... More

I met some friends at CooperSmith's recently. At first we sat on the patio until the music began and asked to go inside. It was no problem to move inside and after we were settled and able to talk again we ordered a wonderful meal. The tomato basil soup and ½ sandwich was the perfect choice for me.

Had lunch here during a day of beer tasting. Beers were good, especially liked the green chile beer and the watermelon beer. Food was also good, typically bar food/sandwich/burger menu, but all our choices were very good. Service was attentive, as the place was quite empty at mid-afternoon. All in all, a decent place for some bar food and good... More

I love the exposed brick, the plethora of comfortable booths and the turkey with melted cheese hobgobbler sandwich so much that I ate it both times I was there in September. Also, their french fries, regular ones, are huge fat yummy fries that are so yummy, yet they do not smell or taste of grease at all. The service is... More

The location is premium. Having just arrived in Fort Collins, we were looking for food and some good locally brewed beer in the Old Town area and the first place we saw was Coopersmith's. I wish I would have checked TripAdvisor first. Lots of choices on the menu and the food was decent if undistinguished, but the beer was terrible.... More

Had been to Coopersmith's a few times when I was a student at CSU, we were up this weekend for a football game and decided to give it another try, and we were not disappointed. We requested to sit outside, waitress was prompt and courteous. Refilled out glasses many times (we had been out in the sun all day) and... More

We visited and tasted beer from half a dozen Ft. Collins brewery and although CooperSmith's beer was not our favorite the food was a great surprise. The weather was perfect for a table on the patio. We started with beer flight/sampling and settled on the a good IPA. The service was good - not fast or fussy but we didn't... More

Food is average and the service is very poor. Super slow service and they weren't very busy. I have been a hand full of times and service hasn't gotten better. Only thing they have going is there location and patios in Old Town.

Located in the Old Town district of Ft. Collins not far from the CSU campus, this classic brew pub has so much to offer - beautiful, scenic, outdoor dining; no end of great dining choices; splendid, warm, and inviting service; an impressive selection of beers, wines, and mixed drinks; huge, mouthwatering desserts, and a grand bar atmosphere complete with pool... This is our go to spot for an beer and burger. The chili beer is always very good, and some of the seasonal beers are also very good. If you like dark beer, they have Horsetooth Stout and Not Brown. I have tried the BBQ sandwich, the fried fish and chips, and the Mesa Verde Burger. The last is my... More
