This place has operating as a family owned business since 1957 and has a very loyal following. The occasion for my first visit was a family birthday dinner and we arrived early on a Saturday night as the place gets busy quite early. The atmosphere is very rustic, charming and dimly lit. Service was good and, considering we numbered eight... More

Front desk recommended this restaurant next door and it was good advice. The pork chop, bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, the green Chile stew, even the vegetables were excellent. Prices already were good, especially by colorado standards... Then the meals came and so much more food than we expected.

This place had amazing food! I went their for breakfast and I ordered pancakes. They were so delicious. The people that I went with said that the bacon was amazing. I definitely recommend this joint to the people who live or are visiting Fort Collins.

We used to be regular patrons of this restaurant back in the 1980's. Since then we have moved to Texas and back to Colorado (Colorado Springs). Throughout all these years, whenever we are in Fort Collins, we make it a point to eat here. The meals are as good now as they were in the 80's. We have enjoyed many... More

It was the last night of our roadtrip and the Charco Broiler was close to our hotel, an obvious choice. And it was a good choice, we had a nice relaxing dinner off and interesting menu to end our day.

We have been here many times and usually have a wonderful experience and food. The last time we visited, none of us were happy with our meals. Not sure why....new chef maybe. We will go back but we weren't happy with our meals the last time we were there. From what I hear, it's where all the local ranchers and... More

We usually eat breakfast at the CB because they have great breakfast selections and the prices are very competitive. They are also known for their steak dinners.

We had dinner at the Charco Broiler. The food choice was good, and we were seated quickly. The baked potato was barely cooked, but the mashed potatoes looked tasty. So order that as a side instead. We paid extra for the spinach salad, which was good. They should nix the cauliflower in the salad. The only issue we had was... More

After years of inconsistent food quality, we had our last dinner at Charco Broiler last evening. We were off to a bad start when our son ordered lemonade that was so watery that it had no lemonade appearance or taste...something we would have thought the server would have noticed. My medium rare steak came out well done. The second try... More

I have a eatery pet peeve which is; if I order an appetizer it would be nice to finish it before the entree arrives. Simple enough? My onion soup app. which was delicious, was delivered about two minutes before my main course. Now, do you finish the soup and let your tenderloin cool or vice versa? You should not have... More
