My father and I went here because we were wanting to try fresh oysters. We were not disappointed. The waitress was very helpful in helping us with our decisions and with any questions that we had. Eating oysters for the first time is a daunting experience. The oysters tasted fresh, according to our new tastes. The entrees were tasty as... More

The staff here really out-do themselves; from an immediate table during dinner time with no reservation to special dietary requests - no one faltered! On top of all this, the food is very good. Shrimp & Grits, Fort Collins Salad, Mussels & Frites, Ahi Poke, Wedge...all delicious!!! The only falter was the Butterscotch Pudding itself...very rubbery as if there was... More

Excellent charming service, nicely decorated, busy but not too loud. Good seafood especially for the happy hour. Others selections were interesting but i couldn’t eat some of everything Prices reasonable but isn't suppose to be very fancy. White paper instead of linen so they are shooting for the above average experience without going overboard. Drinks were very good, and wine... More

Reserved a table thru Open Table and we were seated towards the back at a High Top, while not the most romantic for Valentines Day it wasn't as bad as the couple across from us that had to share a table with only a small divider between them. Osyters were OK for a LAND LOCKED state, don't expect them to... More

I'll start by saying I'm a member of a Travel Writers Association. It's my job to review hotels, golf courses and restaurants. Executive chef, Ricky Myers, has created a variety of outstanding appetizers, entrees and desserts that GOGT recently enjoyed. The occasion was a birthday dinner for my daughter, son-in-law and 3 grandkids, along with Grace. I'll point out that... More

Best Calamari ever...and I've eaten it all over the world. My wife and friends really enjoyed the raw oysters while I deferred to one of the great Fort Collins local dark beers.

We've gone to Jax for Sunday dinner after a matinee movie several times a month lately trying to catch all the Oscar nominee movies. My husband loves the fish and chips served only on Sundays and I use a coupon good for a small size portion of mussels and fries. This last time we split the delicious Tres Leches dessert.

Go between 4 & 6pm for the happy hour. Great Calamari...the best that we have had anywhere. The Ahi Tuna Melt - very special..quartered sandwich, but still bite size. Drink specials also. Recommend highly and we will be returning...for happy hour again!

The happy hour menu is awesome...although you still might end up spending a bit of money. One time we came in and a manager gave us a free calamari for recognizing we had been in a alot lately, always nice when management is attentive to customers. Keep in mind, the quickest service you will get, is at the bar because... More
