Our family has regularly dined at Los Tarascos. We love the shrimp Tarascos, which is a nice Mexican enchilada with shrimp in a white sauce. The margaritas are tasty, but strong. You will only be allowed two, but that is plenty. If you prefer to eat good quality food served by family and locally owned, you should dine here.

We ate here with friends who live in Ft. Collins. The unique thing about this restaurant is the salsa bar, which has several salsa with chips( $2 extra) or tortillas. We all ordered the same thing -the enchilada tri color but we all different fillings. Each meal was $12.The food was good and better than chain Mexican restaurants.

I grew up eating real Tex(as)Mex & I really love every dish I've had at Los Tarascos (over the last 10+ years). My friend with food allergies accompanies me here as a special treat, since her food options are so limited. It's Certainly not anything like the "slop" you might find at Taco John's... What an insult! LT's dishes are... More

Coming from a person of Latino descent, this is authentic style Mexican food. Unfortunately in Colorado people seem to think that places such as Café Mexicali and Café Rio are true Mexican food, they are not. It is a bit overpriced I will give you that, but good margaritas, good food, no complaints. This is not Tex-Mex this is authentic... More

It was a good waiter service but when the food came out it was not what would be expected it was so over priced ordered the burrito and it was mostly pico de gallo when I ordered steak greatly disappointed all bland and the rice was obviously portioned out with an ice cream scoop not worth it at all

Took my family a party of 9 their all left quite satisfied with they had for dinner. Wide array of choices to be had-even kids. The salsa bar is the best I've seen and/ or tasted. Large portions and reasonably priced. Friendly, fast and efficient waitstaff

I just don't understand why people really like this place. I agree that the location is convenient, but other than that...it just doesn't really have much to offer. I freely admit that I have pretty high standards when it comes to Mexican or Tex-Mex food----after all, I grew up in southern TX where amazing Mexican food is decently easy to... More

First of al,l the food is expensive for the average Tex-Mex fare served here. There was a very limited selection of pork dishes offered when I was there. I just look at their online menu and it shows you can get carnitas in burritos, tacos, quesadillas and another dish, but that was not the case when I dined there last... More

We tried this place based on the positive reviews and we left scratching our heads. I asked our waitress for recommendations and tried the second one she suggested-- some type of pork. Our wait for the food was substantial: We left the mostly-empty restaurant over an hour after we entered it and we spent most of the time waiting for... More
