This place is amazing. I had the most delicious egg drop soup and crackers. Next I had a margarita, which tasted perfectly and had actual alcohol in it. Then my family split a few entrees. The sweet and sour chicken was delicious, the shrimp with lobster sauce was very good, and the beef my husband ordered was spicy and delicious.... More

We took the recommendation from a local to check this spot out, was great. Sat right down ordered within a minute, lunch selection was decent but there dinner menu wasn't that expensive if you wanted more meal and less extras. Server was very nice and quick. In and out in 40 minutes.

Names after the region of China where the owner was born and raised, he still cooks there every night! We have never been there when the owner is not. The service staff is young, but friendly, helpful, and prompt. One of our favorites in town.

I don't know why it took us so long to finally visit the South China restaurant. We've always heard great things about it but probably because it's closed on Sundays, we just missed it. I would very highly recommend the food here, it's freshly made and the fried rice alone is worth the trip. Don't let the spartan decor put... More

Often hyped as the "best Chinese food" in Fort Collins, South China does indeed have good Chinese food with the only drawbacks being the prices (as they're a little higher for quick-service or take-out Chinese food), the restaurant decor itself is also pretty dated and the restaurant isn't open Sundays (which is a favorite time to go out to eat).... I've been going here for years and the quality of their food has never changed. No short cuts! The Kung Pao Chicken is amazing. This family works hard, the people are friendly and the food comes out fast! The lunch menu is a terrific value! A must go to restaurant whenever I visit Fort Collins.

Chef Ming's touch is on every meal served at South China. If you like a combo fried rice, Ming's Fried Rice is the best you will find - nuts, veggies, eggs, meats...yummy! Hot and Sour soup is amazing. They are closed on Sunday so take note. The atmosphere to eat there is average - but the food is simply outstanding.... More

I would go back just for the homemade egg rolls. Also, the sizzling rice soup is generous with shrimp and vegetables.

I probably eat here at least once a month. Hot and sour soup, sizzling rice soup, Kung Pao combo! Even had several big family/friend gatherings (20-30 people) here with people who did not like Chinese food. They came away stunned! All they could say was either my taste buds have changed or nothing else compares. They still come back here... More

Hot & Sour soup is to die for. Kung Pao chicken also a favorite. Wait staff were pleasantly attentive. Next time I want to try Ming's Fried Rice. I think about this place and my mouth waters. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
