If they closed I don't need to even explain why. Who on earth has an hour and a half wait on food? We got so fed up with trying to please our kids we just started giving them pepsi from our straws.

They have about a half dozen locations around the greater Denver area. Good, solid food. I probably would not take a date their but it is nice for lunch or with some friends for dinner.

Having gone to this chain of restaurant for almost 40 years now, I still like it. Good value , clean, friendly. My family and I go at least once a month if not more frequently.

Always try new restaurants when in ft. Collins, thought we would try the armadillo. The place is dirty and dark, the chips and salsa were horrible... The meals were just as bad, the food was not fresh nor did it resemble authentic Mexican food. Can't believe this place is in business still. Their green chili tasted of old lard and... More

Armadillo Border Grill and Cantina .....Local Restaurant ETHICAL practices?? I had exactly the same NEGATIVE experience another reviewer recently shared...per my visit there on Saturday Feb 11th. Two of us parked in the parking lot, walked in, glanced at the menu and decided to not eat there.. We wondered why the parking lot wasn't full on a Saturday evening. (HINT).... More

Love the Armadillo, however the Longmont, CO location is better than the Fort Collins location, in my opinion. Hokey mexican decorations and not well lit in this restaurant but always good mexican food and their sopapillas are among the best!

The restaurant was of quaintly typical Mexican decor. The food was fabulous. Mexican food is one of my favorites. I had the pork stuffed sopapillas. I had never had anything like it before and it was yummy, but the pork rocked!! There were 8 of us and everyone loved their food. I would definitely recommend it. I know I'll go... More

Unless you are both a high roller and a glutton for punishment, steer clear of this place. Even if you are one of the lucky ones who escapes without a hefty tow bill, you still have to go through the torture of stomaching their food.

The person who wrote about their truck being towed is completely right. I WAS going to eat at the armadillo, but my experience on july 23rd, 2011 ensures that I and my friends will NEVER go there again. We never tasted their apparently bland and poorly made meals, and we definitely never will. We parked in their lot, and went... More

Do no eat here. They will tow your car if you don't walk straight into the restaurant. My husband walked two blocks to pick up me & my toddler & when we walked back to the restaurant, his truck had been towed. They have someone waiting & watching. It cost us $266 & we ended up eating fast food after... More
