Better in the past

Lucille's is a New Orleans/Southern themed breakfast place. Having eaten here over the past 15 years I feel the experience has gone downhill. While still a fine place (with very good beignets) it is not as tasty as other choices in Fort Collins.

We started off our brunch with a half order of beignets. Great Bloody Mary garnished with olive, celery and a cocktail shrimp--a cocktail extravaganza. Do yourself a favor and take home a bottle of their ketchup...it's some of the best I've ever had.

I have lived in Fort Collins for the better part of my life and have most likely eaten at mosts of the restaurants. The Rio is generally known for the Margaritas. They are very good on hot afternoon, however the food is something less attractive. If you are in the mood for authentic Mexican food and not into Margaritas, look... More

My wife and I chose to have breakfast here, as we love Cajun food. Everything had a different flare to it. Very original, unique, tasty, large portions, friendly service, and a very reasonable bill. Yes they were busy, but we got in fairly quickly, and boy was it worth the wait. This place has GREAT FOOD, no if ands or... More

The food here is great, not the same old same old breakfast offerings. Try the biscuits or beignets. The restaurant is small, so be prepared to be close to the other diners. They have an outside patio which is great when the weather is warm. One of the best breakfast spots in Fort Collins

The Bloody Mary; Sausage Gravy, and Biscuits all rate a 10! Lots of Eggs Benedict dishes to choose from as well. Did I mention "real-Beignets"!

Have been here a few times and this is one of the best places to get beignets in Colorado. The place is quaint, so don't expect fancy "anything". Love the fact that they use torn squares of cloth for napkins and mix and match tables and chairs. It is an old house that has been renovated into a restaurant that... More

Love the feel of the place, although it gets too tight and crowded to take the family (parents of small kids know what I mean). Menu isn't that appealing for kids. However, I like it and LOVE their tea and corn bread.

We've been faithful goers to Lucile's for years. The first time we went my sister was in town, and now we go EVERY time she is in town (and then some). She insists on beignets (twist my arm) which are the best I have had since I first tried them in New Orleans. The homemade jam is spectacular. She orders... More

Always crowded, more food than I can eat and consistently great food. The beignets are yummy, the enormous fluffy biscuits a delight, rice pudding porridge is breakfast dessert, pain perry excellent. All the egg dishes are good with my favorite the eggs Jennifer. Yum.
