Enjoyable for dinner, only so-so for lunch

This will sound somewhat strange and it is hard for me to explain my experience. I have been to Young's seven or eight times for dinner and have always liked the food. But, for some inexplicable reason, I did not enjoy the taste of my food on five of the six times I have been there for lunch... read more

We have eaten here many times over the last 10 years on our trips to Fort Collins. Always seems to be busy when we go, especially at lunch. Very clean restaurant, and very polite, attentive staff. The garlic sauce chicken is my personal recommendation, served with steamed jasmine rice. Young's also has very good soups, although the selection changes depending... More

Yes, first the good: very attentive, efficient, and friendly staff. Good table service and hot food. And that's kind of where the good ends. Check my reviews—I don't enjoy trashing places. We always go for locally-run places and appreciate the hard work that goes into making a successful business. Young's Cafe is obviously doing well, and since this is not... More

With my wife and a few friends, I have eaten here 5 times now - and have yet to be disappointed. Before I get to the food let me explain my title: at our last visit our group split the bill, and I paid by credit card (meaning I got the ending balance of bill?) Before we could leave, but... More

It was nice to finally eat at a really good Vietnamese restaurant. The service was a little wanting as the waitress was obivously brand new but that is ok, everyone needs to start sometime. The chicken with basil was not outstanding but good, but the crab dish was superb. The price was acceptable and the ambience was just right.

I have eaten lunch here twice and both times my food was overly sweet, not very hot, and not impressive at all. The first time I had a Vietnamese dish, and I was disappointed so I thought maybe I ordered the wrong thing. The second time I ordered what seemed to be a more Chinese fusion dish, and it gave... When we are in the mood for good Asian food at a reasonable price, we don't have to wonder where to go - Young's is the place. Great food, great drinks, not expensive and a really wonderful staff. It's a little hard to find but, hey, isn't that what GPS is for? Don't miss this place.

Young's Café is one of the oldest restaurants in Fort Collins; and this is due to consistent above average food choices. Don't miss their bowls - noodles, vegetables, and meat - for a filling and refreshing lunch. The lemon grass sauce goes well with chicken, vegetarian, or seafood. Duck roti, roasted to perfection, is a great choice. For the ultimate... More

Based on its excellent reputation, we ate at Young's on a week night when visiting Fort Collins from out of state. It is fairly large, had lots of customers, so our experience must not be typical. The garlic eggplant had lots of veggies besides the eggplant (good), but the small slices of eggplant were lost in very thick breading (bad).... More

Seriously .... Bad. We love Vietnamese cuisine and rely on TripAdvisor to find great places. This makes me wonder if this restaurant paid people to post good reviews. We ordered the crystal spring rolls that were flavorless and chewy .... Yes, chewy. It was like they were three days old. We also got the soft shell crab appetizer that was... More
