Fun Italian located in a 1900s ish house.

Enter the front door of the house on College Avenue into a warm and cozy setting. Dark wood pannelling, tables of various sizes and shapes give a hint of the friendly service experienced here. The menu is quite extensive with a price range for most every budget. Quality of food is good... read more

Positives: Restaurant is in a very nice old historic registry home in the old town section of Fort Collins and is local owned. Service was great and the warm bread they bring out first was warm, crusty and good. My husband liked his salad and he thought his dinner (eggplant parm) was good. Negatives: Parking is not ample, especially if... More

To begin, the hostess was not pleasant. Perhaps she was having a rough day? The waiter, however, was attentive and cheerful. There was no doubt that the warm bread was freshly made. The tasty sounding salad was large, but filled with mushy, old pears. The food was simply OK, nothing special and over-loaded with cheese. The pasta was cooked to... More

I've only been to Canino's a few times. A long time ago I ate here and really liked my meal of gnocchi in cream sauce. That was delicious. I revisited the restaurant with my family this last week. It was just an ok visit. I love the old building from 1905 that it is inside, as I find old buildings... More

We went here for our anniversary dinner in August. What a nice place. In the summer months, they have a very romantic outdoor patio on the second floor out back. It is lit up with candles and white lights. Not a great view of the alley, but the patio is nice. Great Italian food as well!

We had our company Christmas party here, the food was great and our server was attentive and funny. It's also good for a romantic night with your spouse.

I found the Cioppino entree offered very disappointing. I seek out restaurants whenever traveling offering this dish and this offering was without doubt the most disappointing in my experience. Cioppino is intended to be a spicy tomato sauce fisherman stew. While the shellfish included were plentiful the sauce was bland and nearly tasteless despite the abundance of crushed tomatoes; perhaps... More

Are you short on $$$$? Monday night is for you all you can eat spaghetti for $3.95 wow it would be a value at $6.95. The food is great the house is one of a kind that anyone who visits would want to live in. The portions are large, noodles homemade and the bread is better than mama's. If your... More

While the food here was certainly not bad, we honestly were not that impressed and had higher expectations. The chicken parmigiana was only fair; the sauce was extremely garlicky; so much so that it overpowered every other flavor in the dish. In contrast, the sauce on the pasta was very bland and tasted a bit like unseasoned tomato paste. Service... More

Affordable, adult palate pleasing Italian fare with a small children's menu, Canino's offers a warmth inside the Victorian house with stained glass windows in the bays, dark wood accenting the walls and ceiling, maroon carpet, and lighting that adds a sense of comfort without forcing me to use glasses to read the menu. Daily soups are not to be ignored,... More
