I've been coming to Canino's on visits to Fort Collins since I was a kid in the late 70's and, to my palate, its still as good today as it was back then. The wife had the shrimp scampi, I had the manicotti, and the kid had a pizza. All were excellent. My manicotti serving was huge and came with... More

Six of us for dinner on a Sat. Night. Old friends getting together after a long time. Loved the ambiance of the old house that is this restaurant. Wait staff was very good, helpful on choices of food and wine. My wife's shrimp.'s dish was excellent, two of us had the veal scallopini which was good but not the best... More

I have eaten at this restaurant for over 30 years. Best home style Italian I've ever had, consistently wonderful wait staff and a delightful ambiance. My father did the plumbing in this house when it went from a residence to a restaurant, so we got to know Clyde Canino personally. He delivered food to my house when I was hugely... More

We sat in the upper part of the house. Great food. Fun atmosphere. Quiet so you can have conversations easily. Old home created impasse setting.

The food was outstanding ! Perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients. Dillon, our server, was very professional ! The restaurant is in a restored mansion. It is a fabulous atmosphere for a wonderful dinner. This is a must, if looking for the best Italian meal ever.

The food wasn't terrible. Atmosphere is nice, it's an old town Fort Collins house transformed into a restaurant. Staff was pleasant enough, did have to wait to be greeted at the front door about five minutes because the only hostess was preparing a take-out meal. The one "beef" I had with them was the fact they didn't advertise very well... More

Positives: Restaurant is in a very nice old historic registry home in the old town section of Fort Collins and is local owned. Service was great and the warm bread they bring out first was warm, crusty and good. My husband liked his salad and he thought his dinner (eggplant parm) was good. Negatives: Parking is not ample, especially if... More

To begin, the hostess was not pleasant. Perhaps she was having a rough day? The waiter, however, was attentive and cheerful. There was no doubt that the warm bread was freshly made. The tasty sounding salad was large, but filled with mushy, old pears. The food was simply OK, nothing special and over-loaded with cheese. The pasta was cooked to... More

Enter the front door of the house on College Avenue into a warm and cozy setting. Dark wood pannelling, tables of various sizes and shapes give a hint of the friendly service experienced here. The menu is quite extensive with a price range for most every budget. Quality of food is good, interesting, with ample portions. We like it for... More
