Jay's Bistro is a locally owned business started in 1980. Norman And Wednesday Vogel recently purchased the bistro and are making changes to menus, decor and style. By proudly supporting local farms and growers we are adding healthier, fresher and more sustainable items to our menus. Prices are fair for FT Collins and Wednesday is all night happy hour and tapas for those who want to come in and nosh. Enjoy live jazz music Thursday through Saturday with happy hour every day!! Jay's is always great with live music and excellent food. Love to listen to the music while enjoying drinks and appetizers or dinner in a great setting. I recommend it highly.

Jay's is always excellent. Under new management last year, but still the same high quality and fine food and service. One of our favorite places for visitors and celebrations.

We were in town visiting family and happened upon this restaurant on a Monday night. It's elegant with white tablecloths and comfortable booths, and even though we had no reservation and were dressed casually, they welcomed us in. My husband had the pork chop and I had the Opa (fish-of-the-day). The entrees were perfectly prepared and came with generous and... More

We decided to try Jay's new brunch menu offered just a few weeks ago. I ordered the French toast, another order was for corned beef hash. The bread (lots of it) used for the toast could have been a much lighter variety, the strawberries and nuts were a plus. The corned beef hash was bland and did not have much... More

We decided to try Jay's Bistro last night when we were downtown for the art show. They were also doing a special event for the food bank called Great Plates in Fort Collins. Jay's had a four course meal that had great choices for a very reasonable price. I had the duck spring rolls as main entree and my husband... More

Tasting menu main course of calamari was soggy.seafood soup(bolubais)while tasty was the size of an appetizer for $32. Complained about the calamari & no adjustment to the bill even though it was uneaten.

Had a wonderfully delicious meal. Especially liked the shrimp & grits! Great wine! Great service! Located right in the heart of Old Town.

Jay's offers great food with unique offerings....mostly fish stuff like calamari, octupi, lobster, shrimp, etc. plus duck. I'm not a big fish lover, so there isn't a lot for me to choose from. I had a hamburger last time, and it was fine. I liked the grilled onions and mushrooms. Prices are somewhat high so be prepared. I did love... More

My husband and I enjoy happy hours in Old Town. We hadn't been to Jay's for quite awhile so stopped there recently. The cocktails and appetizers were fantastic. The service was friendly, helpful, and efficient. And Mark Sloniker on the piano -- how many ways can you say he's wonderful! Great evening!
