Description: Jay's Bistro is a locally owned business started in 1980 by Jay Witlen with his wife and partner, Jacki. From humble beginnings through the evolution of Jay's Bistro and Jazz Lounge, Jay's entrepreneurial spirit combined with Jacki's encouragement have inspired them to achieve and maintain the perfect mix of hospitality, entertainment and cuisine in their bistro for the past 28 years. The combination of personally run business and swanky atmosphere, fine tuned by a professional kitchen and service staff creates their recipe for success. Their mission was and is to do this and have fun along the way doing it! "Life is good when you share bountiful things," says Jay.

I sat at the bar and enjoyed the most wonderful linguine and clams. Nice live jazz played and I had a wonderful time.

Jays is a local favorite in Fort Collins. Have been several times for business or celebrations. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Great happy hour specials. Food is fresh and has a great presentation. This is a great place for a nice celebration dinner or meeting location for lunch. Large bar area and you can order from full menus as well.... More

We went to Jays a year ago and gave the restaurant a 5 Star Review. After a wonderful time in 2013, we planned our drive from Austin,Texas to Seattle, WA. specifically to eat at Jays. Unfortunately the second visit was not Deja-Vu! The prior visit our server was excellent; this time the server seems more interested in displaying her 2... More

We've gone to happy hour at Jay's for a few years. Always great service, drinks and little plates. I especially love the potato chips and their lemon drop martinis are delicious. After all these great experiences, we decided to go there for date night dinner. We expected it to be a quiet, fine dining experience. It wasn't...we were seated in... More

Great ambiance! Chilean sea bass and creme brulee were both outstanding! Great place for special meals.

My experience at Jay's Bistro was great. I enjoyed the piano music (you will too!) and was made to feel comfortable and welcome. I ordered the seafood caesar salad and savored every bite. You will not be disappointed!

Jay's continues to inspire with globally-themed happy hour small plates, and interesting wines by the glass. We love Jay's for special occasions, of course, but also for a casual drink among friends. Always professional service and a great outdoor patio keep us coming back again and again.

For our 28th anniversary, I was looking for a classy, yet comfortable spot with a solid menu. I found it all at Jay's. Our booth was decorated to honor our anniversary when we arrived. The atmosphere is casually elegant with a touch of vibrance that defines a fine bistro. The service was excellent. The menu offers a very nice selection... More

Had a lovely dinner at Jay's Bistro on Saturday, June 7th. We had another great waiter which is much appreciated when dining out. However, I was disappointed that they had a new menu and it didn't include the Quail with the White Truffle Cream Sauce. I ordered the Duck Trilogy and it was wonderful. The duck breast with the Hoison... More

Located in downtown Fort Collins this place is excellent. Meal was amazing. Service was good. Wine list was great. Appetizer highlights....fresh oysters, oysters rockefeller and duck spring rolls. Dinner highlights....Tournedos of Beef Au Poive and the Bouillabaisse. The only negative was it was a little loud at times with the crowd and jazz music.
