First time we have visited Jay's since Jay sold it and moved on to other adventures. We have been a patron of Jay's since he began eons ago as Columbine Cafe. Jay's Bistro was really the only upscale dining option in Fort Collins, especially since the Canyon Chop House closed and Nico's changed ownership. Now we have nothing since Jay's... More

We went to Jays in August and did not have a spectacular evening. Tried it again with a large group and the food, service and atmosphere were much better. I would love to see the bleu cheese truffle oil potato chips come back.

Jay's Bistro is still our number one pick in Fort Collins, Colorado. The menu has changed a little and the prices are a little higher but it is the best restaurant for fine dining. It has also been rated as the number 1 fine dining restaurant in Fort Collins by Style Magazine. We wondered what would happen after new ownership.... More

...which were neck in neck with the charming, adorable, well-informed waiter. The food was so tasty that I went back a second night, and that was out of four nights there. The combinations were interesting and delicious and the staff friendly and welcoming.

We ate Thanksgiving late lunch here. It was devine. Everything was tasty. Our server went above and beyond that day. My martini was a butterscotch dream with a salt rim. It ended up being my desert. If you were at home you would ask for seconds like at any holiday meal. I will be returning on my next visit here.

Having read about Jay's new ownership we had to check it out while in town. To our relief, nothing has changed and is even better than before. Our waiter was very good and was attentive to our needs and questions. He reported that the staff has responded positively to the new ownership. We started out with the tuna tartar and... More

We visit Ft. Collins a few times a year to visit family and frequently go out to dinner at Jay's. We find the menu to have some excellent choices. There are excellent appetizers, soups and salads and a broad choice of entree's. We've always enjoyed the food.

Wonderful meal at Jay's Bistro. The service was amazing and the food was spectacular. Highly recommend the Proseco Smash cocktails (my friends had more than their fair share).

It was my first time dinning at Jays Bistro. We were celebrating tonight but didn't mention it to the staff. My husband and I find it difficult to dine out having worked in fine dinning and food service for years in NY we often hold people to higher standerds that are more than often not met.Tonight we couldn't have been... It had been a year or so since we last went to Jay's because we hadn't been all that impressed. I'm so glad we went back!! Our server was attentive but did not hover, the atmosphere was subdued and classy, and the food was amazing!!! On the pricey side but well worth it, especially for special occasions!!
