This is the first time we have been to Jay's under its new ownership. It has some of the same characteristics the old Jay's had--especially the fine-dining surroundings and the good service. Generally, however, we were disappointed. Jay's is the kind of place where you would like to take your time, but our entrees arrived within a couple of minutes... More

Had dinner there recently, enjoyed myself much. A fine dining experience in Ft. Collins. I had the bison steak and my two dining partners had the salmon. My steak was great, except it was cut for me into about 1 inch strips which seemed odd to me, I would have rather cut it myself. Perhaps to add more sauce to... More

I loved Jays! Jay, come back!!!!!!! Twelve years ago when I moved from the East Coast to Fort Collins, Jay's Bistro was the place that made me feel at home. I never expected that such a sophisticated, cool, hip and happening place could exist in Fort Collins, CO. I was totally mistaken and taken aback. The food, service, ambiance and... More

This is a really great place for happy hour! Great cocktails and appetizers. Little pricey for the dinners.

Wonderful spot in Ft Collins. The shrimp/crab cake is as good as any and the smokey tomato red pepper bisque is just as it should be. Risotto delicious as well and a very nice wine list. Highly recommend.

We booked via Open Table and I mentioned in the booking notes it was our anniversary. When we arrived the table was decorated with streamers which was a nice touch. Despite the waitress tipping over a full glass of ice water on our daughter (accidents happen) she was great and comp'd us an appetizer or a dessert. The steaks were... More

This restauaunt was a recommendation and it was spot on with the variety of their menu. The meals we choose were very flavorful with a variety of ingredients that complimented the dish. Service was attentive without being pushy.

The food and drinks are very good, but Mark Sloniker and his band mates make Jay's a great place for an evening of jazz. It's fun every time we go!

It's extremely rare I can't finish a dish, but that's what happened here. The dover sole special-of-the-day simply wasn't good. It's hard to explain the mishmash of flavors and ingredients, but it didn't work from my perspective. My partner's salmon dish was very good, however. My gnocchi starter was a disappointment, although O.K. In general, my impression was that the... More
