The location and decor might deceive you because they are simple and a bit rough around the edges, but the food is delicious and lovingly prepared from scratch by the hard-working and humble owner. I loved the vegetarian options offered, as well. Because the food was so great, I will definitely return!

Read about Maza Kabob in the AAA magazine. It was given a one star rating. I ordered the Aashak which was recommended by the magazine. It did not disappoint. It is a steam dumpling dish with vegetable stuffing and top with a tomato beef and yogurt sauce. This sauce is awesome, seasoned just right. I could tell what spices were... More

Not expert on Afghan food but the food here is very tasty. Owner is humble and helpful. Service is a bit slow (not fast food fast) during lunch when I visited in Feb and in July - perhaps the owner is cooking and taking order at the same time. Kitchen has only two people inside but all dishes are cook... More

What a wonderful find! An extensive menu with good choices for the whole family. All 5 of us got something different and they were all delicious. The Afghan desserts have an earthy/citrus spice added (lemongrass?) that was enjoyed by some of my family but not all, it is unique and different. The service was exceptional! was worth the 10 minute... More

We had lunch here a couple of days ago. The food was only okay. I have traveled In Turkey and love eggplant but here it was only okay. My husband has the meatball dish. It was very much over cooked and looked unappetizing. I don't understand the excitement about this place. Service was fine.

Our chiropractor recommended this spot knowing I am a foodie who loves to try new things. I have never had Afgan food so had no idea what to expect but after reviewing the menu online decided to try it. I was not disappointed. The food was flavorful without being spicy hot (although they do offer hot spices on the side... More

We came to this place while visiting Ft Collins last week. WOW! This man knows how to cook, and this was the best meal I have had in a very long time. I ordered the Chicken/Beef Kabobs and after eating them in their entirety, I ordered another to go. The food was perfectly prepared. The pride taken in making this... More

Maza Kebab does a great job. I haven't had any Afghan food since I left California 7 years ago. Very tasty and ample portions. You can't see it off of the main road. It's sandwiched in between Kmart and the supermarket. They do not have beer or wine so if you want that with your meal, I would suggest take... More

Yummy flavors and it's a nice treat to eat something different for a change. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about but the food is delicious! Definitely order the eggplant. Fantastic!

One of my favorite restaurant's in Fort Collins for over two years or more. The eggplant dish was such a surprising favorite. I started off with the Chicken Daashi which is chicken stew with rice. The Chicken Kabobs are awesome! This food makes you think of a home cooked meal. I meet at Maza Kabob for business lunches and with... More
