Greeted by the friendly, chatty owner-this food is spectacularly good! Great flavor profiles with different spices. The potatoes (karma?) were outstanding. The #5 beef "patty" kabob and chicken kabob were vey good. We got the "veggie" rice - long grain rice with flexks of veggie (spinach?)-the white rice was also good-not dry. The "steak cube" kabob was also very tasty.... More

I stopped here one day and had the chicken kabob lunch special. As I waited, I watched the other diners to see what they were eating and knew I would be returning. The chicken was moist, the rice was tasty and the potatoes absorbed the liquid it was cooked in and tasted amazing. Yum for me!

The food here is excellent with choices for vegetarians and omnivores. While tucked into a strip mall and simply decorated, the tastes are great and the service is always very friendly. The owner left Afghanistan decades ago and food has apparently been his passion. After working in other restaurants he finally was able to start his own and our whole... More

We continually visit Maza Kabob and always take extra home for which ever teen wasn't with us at the time. The rice is cooked rice and to die for. The cucumber salad comes with most meals and is excellent. The owner let us try the eggplant dish and it is definitely something to get along with all your kabobs to... More

It would be difficult to not eat here at least once a week if I lived in Fort Collins. The food is delicious. The owner is very friendly and clearly cares about his customers. The location/view isn't the best, but it's definitely worth a visit for the food.

It's in a strip mall in Fort Collins so you might skip it over if you don't know it's there. The food is very good and the people that work there are always friendly. They have options for meat lovers and vegetarians. It's not fast food though. The food is cooked once you order it so it takes a few... More

The location and decor might deceive you because they are simple and a bit rough around the edges, but the food is delicious and lovingly prepared from scratch by the hard-working and humble owner. I loved the vegetarian options offered, as well. Because the food was so great, I will definitely return!

Read about Maza Kabob in the AAA magazine. It was given a one star rating. I ordered the Aashak which was recommended by the magazine. It did not disappoint. It is a steam dumpling dish with vegetable stuffing and top with a tomato beef and yogurt sauce. This sauce is awesome, seasoned just right. I could tell what spices were... More

Not expert on Afghan food but the food here is very tasty. Owner is humble and helpful. Service is a bit slow (not fast food fast) during lunch when I visited in Feb and in July - perhaps the owner is cooking and taking order at the same time. Kitchen has only two people inside but all dishes are cook... More
