So Good...Except

I love Cafe Vino's food, although it is expensive. I think the atmosphere is nice, but it's pretty crowded. The only thing I have to really complain about is related to a particular instance and not the business as a whole. I made reservations to eat here after my graduation for my bachelor's... read more

Cafe Vino is always pretty good. I am never disappointed, however their prices have gone up and their portions have gotten smaller. I felt that they used to provide a very good value, now it is just an average value for good food. The atmosphere is great and so are the drinks.

Creative, innovative menu. Lots of tapas options. Excellent service. Local friends brought us here and then we returned. Best restaurant in Fort Collins.

I came here for Happy Hour to meet some friends and exchange gifts as well as meet someone's newborn. We had a great time. The atmosphere is quiet and upscale. Since it was late afternoon {4 PM} we had a few servers all to ourselves. Even came back for a 2nd time. The wines are BEST by the bottle of... More

My fiance and I hosted our engagement dinner in the front dining room that can be reserved for private events. Leah made the planning process extremely easy. I told her our favorite dishes and she took care of the rest, keeping everything under budget and creating the perfect menu and portions. Our guests felt completely comfortable and taken care of... Our best friends in Fort Collins, as well as others, have been recommending Cafe Vino to us for some time. I have no idea why we waited for so long ...maybe I am an idiot. So, the menu contains a very wide range of comfortable selections. My wife and I took a friend, and after their delicious Chef's Bread as... More

The food is delicious. The service can be comically over the top obsequious. Oddly, every time we make a reservation we're told "well, you need to be done & gone by a certain time". Apparently the folks who made a reservation for 7pm are far more important than the bottom feeders that come in at 5:30. Pretentious customer relations.

This is a great place, with good location across from CSU and just outside of old town. Service carried it for us, even when the food let us down. Our server, Ryan, was uber-knowledgeable about the menu, selections, wine pairings, and most importantly, flexible. When one of the three samplers in a trio of wines wasn't to taste - he... More

I eat at plenty of "upscale" places in Fort Collins, but this place is a little scary with your return per dollar compared to others. To be fair, I have never had a bad entree or drink here, but I also seem to pay significantly more than other similar-tier restaurants.

Gorgonzola pear ravioli were phenominal. organic Shetland salmonw w root vegetable pancetta hash was superb. We were there for a business dinner. We ordered two excellent wines, one recommended by our excellent waiter. Wine list had very good wines at modest to moderately expensive. All in all a terrific experience.
