Spot-on Service and Drinks, so-so Food

This is a great place, with good location across from CSU and just outside of old town. Service carried it for us, even when the food let us down. Our server, Ryan, was uber-knowledgeable about the menu, selections, wine pairings, and most importantly, flexible. When one of the three samplers in... read more

The food is delicious. The service can be comically over the top obsequious. Oddly, every time we make a reservation we're told "well, you need to be done & gone by a certain time". Apparently the folks who made a reservation for 7pm are far more important than the bottom feeders that come in at 5:30. Pretentious customer relations.

I eat at plenty of "upscale" places in Fort Collins, but this place is a little scary with your return per dollar compared to others. To be fair, I have never had a bad entree or drink here, but I also seem to pay significantly more than other similar-tier restaurants.

Gorgonzola pear ravioli were phenominal. organic Shetland salmonw w root vegetable pancetta hash was superb. We were there for a business dinner. We ordered two excellent wines, one recommended by our excellent waiter. Wine list had very good wines at modest to moderately expensive. All in all a terrific experience.

Over time this place has been very consistent in the quality of the product and service. Some simple items are so well done as to have become staples on our menu, for instance, the bacon wrapped dates. Appetizers and tapas will appear as the norm, but we have had more complete meals by composing our orders. The specials are always... More

Expensive and you leave hungry, wines are ok but not worth the price. Tapas are tasty, but again not worth the price.

This is a lovely place to meet for just coffee/desserts with friends, business meals, or great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Better yet, you don't need to compete with college students taking over the cafe with laptops. This venue is for adults! Come relax and enjoy actual conversation in beautiful surroundings. Wonderful coffee!

Lunch was excellent. We just wanted a light bite so we chose the Mediterranean pizza and it was delicious! Plenty for two with a salad. Great choice and highly recommend it.

One of my favorite places to visit. The staff is always friendly and does so much to accommodate the patrons needs.

We have eaten here several times and were excited to try the Sunday special -- three courses paired with three wines for $35. What a disappointment! Although the food was delicious, the portions were ridiculously small. The first course, a watercress salad with raw scallops and beets, consisted of literally 6-8 watercress leaves and two paper-thin slivers of scallop on... More
