Great Steaks

While on vacation in Colorado, we wanted to experience a GREAT steak at a local restaurant. After consulting Trip Advisor, we choose the Canyon Chop House. Our server Dan was excellent. We had dinner here on a Tuesday evening. I have NEVER had such an excellent meal; I was astounded. Meat was cooked exactly the way we asked, and perfect seasoning. Iceberg wedge salad was a fabulous crumbled blue cheese mix. Calamari with a tasty aioli, and well-matched greens. Pommes Williams had the most delightful savory cheese mixed in. Yes, it... More

We dined here with friends on Sunday, 4/19/15. The service here is wonderful - helpful, friendly, attentive without being annoying. The food, alas, was only mediocre and not served more than lukewarm. Our companions had recommended this restaurant but I could tell by their expressions they were disappointed. There were very few customers in the restaurant and, perhaps, that was... More

From start to finish this was one delicious dinner. Really nice restaurant with great service, too. WIne list was nice and the meal was amazingly delicious. Slightly off the old town path, but not too far.

We waited at a locked door for our 5PM reservation with a couple who had been there 10 minutes before us. The doors were opened after 5PM with no explanation! The oysters were delightful, the wedge salad was solid, but the entrees left quite a bit to be desired. I think we will wait for several months before we spend... More

Overcooked or undercooked, they won't get it right. Prices are too high to support the quality. Atmosphere is nice, service was so so. The side dinner salad was good, nothing to write mom about. There are far better restaurants in Fort Collins.

This place has a very romantic/adult atmosphere (not so much for kids). It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. We had the priccuto appetizer, which was very good. I had salmon and my husband had steak. We were very pleased with our meal.

Went here for our anniversary last night. I have to say the only excellent part of the meal was the pork belly appetizer. Nothing was bad, but nothing was really awesome either. Our steaks were good, but not great. Certainly not the best, or even in the top 10, steaks I've eaten. The ambiance is fine, but nothing really great.... More

Quality of the food is excellent - best steaks I have ever had in my 58 years of life. Prices are a little high, but in this case you get what you pay for. Cozy environment - excellent service.
