Quality of the food is excellent - best steaks I have ever had in my 58 years of life. Prices are a little high, but in this case you get what you pay for. Cozy environment - excellent service.

Wife and I usually precede a local show with a light dinner out. This was the first time we have been to the Canyon Chop House for a meal in a number of years. Service was a bit slow to get started.....we guessed there was a mixup in assignments. But once it started it was very attentive. We shared our... More

Dined at this restaurant on our trip last weekend.....what wonderful food! Only to be topped by the great service we received from our server, Tyler, was very accommodating to our needs, as we kept adjusting the size of our party, and he very patiently added space and then took away, as the size changed. Appreciated his great service! Food was... More

Yes, it costs some cash to eat here but not as much money as certain other places in the city. Variety of fine food on the menu, nice wine selection. Dinners always superbly prepared. Atmosphere is good, too -- not exactly cozy because the interior lacks a certain warmth, but you have space between tables and can actually talk to... More

When looking for a end of visit dining experience I made several calls, two earlier restaurants near by (can you say Kitchen) were unwilling to flex from their assigned setting times. Glad we hung in there and call the Canyon Chop House. When asking for a reservation we were met with a very positive "absolutely" from Kristen (?) the host.... More

Picked this for our anniversary. Atmosphere was great, had reservations on a Sunday night for 5:30. When we left, two hours later, about 80% filled. I had the mixed green salad and the venison and quail. My wife had the filet mignon and lamb chops. Other reviews mentioned as pricey but for what we had I think priced appropriately. I... More

I recently attended an office dinner at the Canyon Chop House. It was a nice evening. The service was wonderful. The food was good, but pricey. I had the petit filet mignon which was delicious. The side dishes were just regular side dishes, nothing fancy, just average mashed potatoes and overcooked asparagus. I would happily go back if someone from... More

I try to hit this restaurant at least once a year. It is definitely spendy...100 bucks for two...but the menu is unique and doesn't disappoint. The atmosphere is calming and casually elegant. The outside of the restaurant does not give any impression of excellence...but take my word, it brings it all together on the inside.

After a few so-so meals in town on our first-ever trip to Fort Collins, this was our last evening before leaving and we were so glad we came here! It helped a troubled trip end on a really great note. Caught happy hour pricing on apps and drinks because we came early after beer tasting, then had a great dinner... More

We cannot wait to return. The service was amazing and the appetizers and the entrees were outstanding.
